Here's my theory, the vast majority of americans are for the Border fence, whether they want to admit or not. I would say at least 75%. Out of that 75%, I bet 50% would put there money where there mouth is. Here's my plan: we offer our citizens the chance to be a part of history. Buy a plaque for $100 to put your family names on, and the names of your LEGAL IMMIGRANT family members, and a choice of saying related to liberty, the rule of law, etc. Part of the money pays for the plaque, the other part helps pay for the fence. Your plaque goes on the fence and faces Mexico.

I would.. Take it out of the politicians hands. Contact the land owners on the border.. Make a consolidated fence from Brownville to San Diego.. Could probably do it for several million instead of the hundreds it's costing the taxpayer because of bureaucratic overhead..

Better yet, dig a moat from Brownville to Diego, fill it with endangered Crocodiles. Make the ecowhacks happy by creating wetlands. Feed the crocs with an occasional w*tb*ck wandering into the swamp.

No Here in AZ I want my Democrat Governor to first spend the left over $70 million she got from home land security and spend it on the fence. She just can`t seem to figure out what to do with the $70 million. She doesn`t want to anger the Illegal Alien Vote here. She only won by 5000 votes and she knows where her bread is buttered.
After that I might think about a plaque.
We have a small town walking across the border everyday.

Until President Bush indicators the appropriations invoice for the fence sure the fence is symbolic. Fences do paintings San Diego has fence and men and women dont pass at that checkpoint they pass in which there is not any fence. Stop the Invasion Now!!!!

By all means, spend money on a plaque! Mexicans are the best diggers in the world. THat, and they will learn to handglide. Then, when you are sitting there, poor from having spent money on a fence, they can outwork you and make you look like a lazy idiot in your own country!

I would go and suggest one better, let Halliburton pay for all the fence, that way they have done their patriotic good deed. Getting all the government money with no competition, would really be a good gesture on Halliburton's part?

Not a bad plan, but the plaques should be on the inside so we can realize we're actually walling ourselves in, not them out.

No. If I did, it would say, "Dig right here!" in three languages, English, Spanish and Arabic. What qualifies a "vast majority" anyway?
