Best place, talk to people themselves...but you'll have to know who you want to hear from since many tribes/Nations can vary greatly.
But we warned, because... "I am interested mainly in their religious and spiritual beliefs" will likely not be looked at kindly by some/many/all. People already deal with too many people that want, exploit, and sometimes profit off their cultures. Some things are not for knowledge of people outside their cultures and their ways should not be practiced by others. Although some may not have a problem with your just wanting to learn about things if it ends with just understanding their ways and that's it.
Or this is at least as far as I have heard from some people...

If you just google in Native American you will have so many places to visit that you will have to set up a new folder to hold them in. You will learn lots there.

what do you want to know about us....and the correct term is native American.....not red man, or other slang's...id start with your local library....and if you can make friends with a native American you might be invited to a local pow-wow....we have many many stories to share, and to listen to the elders tell stories it is like living the past all over again......don't expect to be welcomed with open arms though, you should find somebody to invite you in the home of one of the elders....good luck

You may want to try your local library for books and information. Remember, though, that every tribe had different variations on their folklore. Also, it may be a good idea to ask for information at the local reservation. I know the one near me has a tribe shaman (who also happens to be my friend's father).

Go visit and make friends with them in the government-"donated" reservations. They will know if you are a sincere enough person or not...
Peace be with you!
