No,that's not a reasonable thing to do.If you can't handle the answer then don't ask the question.But I am curious,I just went and looked at your site,and I understand that you don't believe in God.Which didn't take a genius to figure that out,with your user name and all.And I have no problem with your beliefs,we are all entitled to believe what we want.But my question is this,it seems as though you have an obsession with God,Jesus,and the teachings of the Bible,is that so?And if so why?You seem to be an intelligent guy,why do you keep asking the same questions,just wording them differently?Maybe this is just how you pass your time,and I can respect that.I'm just curious for myself,is why I ask.And before I forget,please tell me what the flying spaghetti monster is?I'm really curious about that one.Thanks for letting me peek into your world,it's a little scary,but I can handle it.Take care.

That completely depends on the question being asked. In general, people should feel free to ask questions even if they are sensitive in nature. This person might not be aware that it is a hurtful question or maybe it would be a good opportunity for you to educate them. But if someone is posing a question really as a way to be hurtful, then yeah... they should be reported. Post the question asked for a better response.

Questions that are aimed at spreading hate deserve to be reported. That doesn't mean that it's reasonable to report people whenever they don't agree with you or when they slightly insult people with their ignorant remarks. I think the report option should be reserved to questions that flat out spread hate against some group of people or go way too far in being hurtful or something.

Yahoo really doesn't care about Disrespect and/or hurt feelings on Yahoo Q &A.
If that were so I would be able to have the Quaran delisted because it says;
"Not Jesus, but a look alike, was substituted and crucified at the Cross." -4:157
THIS IS BLASPHEMY - AND A LIE! No proof can be offered at all.

depends on the question.
some people are offended when no offense was intended and some ask question that they know are going to offend but really want an answer.
then there are those questions that are designed to offend as many as possible with little though to others feelings.
these are the one that need to be reported.

jimâ¥darwin,
It isn't something that I practice, but that doesn't mean that it's not okay to do. I am not the basis for knowing what to do in all things. Neither do others have to carry my point of view on that point, or any point, to consider things right or wrong.

"You do what I say or else I'm gonna tattle!" Threats are childish. Jesus discredits everyone else's beliefs by saying he's the only way to god. My-way-or-the-highway people never impressed me much.

I'd be doing it every 5 seconds if I did report people , I'm a Christian. I don't report anyone.
He just spoke the truth and was killed for it.

unfortunately because of all the freedom we have people don't see it as disrespect to insult anothers belief. I guess when you come to an open discussion as this one you have to be prepared to read it all even if its insulting.
