they look like sores have scabs but dont seem to itch him or hurt

honestly that almost sounds like mange you should take him to a vet to be sure he may need medicine to cure it

It sounds like your dog has allergies....my yorkie and schnauzer have these. But I would take him to the vet to make sure. I give my dogs about 2cc of children's Benedryl. And that seems to help with the scratching.

Definitely take your dog to the doctor. My dog had one on his head too, it got really big and he had to have surgery to remove it.

it could be blocked pores...or just plain old pimples...is he itching them? if he is take him to the vet or call them to get a home remedy...
