He speaks Portugese and Spanish, and I don't speak either. I need some suggestions of things to do other than bowling and clubbing. Done that already and don't liek to do the other.

how about movies, holding hands, have him sing to you, shopping see what he likes, what he is drawn to,
have him cook for you, or you cook for him, ask him about his home land, show him things that are of interst in your area that are boring, but might be fun for him, try new things, if he is new to the area, it will be fun

Talking is not important, only love and the body language is important. I suggest you go to a movie so there won't be much talking.
And tell him to learn english. Its better that you learning Spanish as English is the international language and can be useful anywhere in the world but spanish is just a spanish people's language.
Also speak to him in English as that will improve his english very much

You can go and see a movie if he understands English well enough... If not, do something active... like a day at the park or go to a fair/amusement park. Just do what you'd normally do on a date... by talking he'll practice his English. You will have to be able to communicate eventually.

I think a good activity would also be to learn each other's languages, but if that doesn't work out,
try something physical, like bowling, golfing, baseball, etc.

well, my boyfriend is def...he wears hearing aids but he still cant hear very good and talk very good so I have trouble understanding him a lot too. Try going out to eat with them at a quiet resteraunt so you can try to understand him and the way he speaks better.

Maybe go to a museum and view some artwork. Art transcends language barriers :). Maybe you could also go to one of those "make your own pottery" places. I think those are neat!
