You can eat as much protein you need to feel satisfied but if you eat all you want it can turn to glucose in the bloodstream and be detrimental to your diet.

The problem with the Fatkins diet is just that. it will make you fat when you get off it. And if you stay on it you might do permanent damage to your body.

You cannot deny carbohydrates as your body craves these. Just as you cannot deny your body sugar. This is why deprevation diets always will fail. You just eat good carbs and fruits that contain sugar enough to satisfy your body.

Fatkins also encourages you to consume lots of saturated fat and that is really bad for you. It is not possible to eat a healthy balanced diet and cut out saturated fat entirely.

You should look to a healthy balanced diet for proper nutrition and learn to distinguish between good carbs and bad carbs. Fatkin's principles ignore the necessity of fiber and whole grains and cater to people who want a quick fix in the short run, but will suffer possibly irreversible damage in the long run.

Read up on nutrition and start eating in a way that is good for your health.

A good book to start with would be Eat Drink and Be Healthy, the Harvard Medical School Guide to Healthy Eating.

Too much protien is also dangerous, however people don't naturally reach that level with regular eating unless they are also taking protien supplements (look to the tragic events in the NBA a few years ago, for a certain player, for answers to that).

The problem I have with weight watchers is that it doesn't teach you the wheres and whys. The best diet is to become educated and change your lifestyle based on adding and substituting healthy foods. That way even when you don't have a "guide" with you you can make intelligent decisions even when you are in the middle of lardville like pigsknuckle arakansas.

I think the minimum carbs recomended is 35, take a lot of vitamins, there is a metod to determine the exact amount of carbs you need. use a ketone strip that you use to check urine ketone count, available at most drug stores. Fast 48Hrs or until stipe indicates ketone present then slowly add until the strip changes colors to show no ketones and then subtract 5 and implement diet. Usually you can eat 60 a day

As much protien as you like. I have used it since 1970 and I eat steak and salad. substitute cheese for bread inserting meat between, for sandwiches, dill pickles, watch out for bologna, other sausages, condiments like catsup, mayo, dressings many squash are low in carbs. My favorite is put lotsa onions some Zucini, a little cabbage all in lotsa butter and on top a meat salad of two or more meats. Slow cook in elec. frying pan til meat is done and then cover with cheese and pizza sauce (low carb) until cheese melts. I eat out of that for a few days. I found you can cheat like hell one day a week after you have been on the strict for a month, and on that day you can pretty much pig out
good luck

ok i've got achieved the two so ... at first in case you have basically lost 5 lbs in a single month on a vegetarian weight-help plan you in all likelihood have not been work out and/or you have taken in too many energy. in simple terms because of the fact it rather is non carnivorous would not recommend its low calorie. Now as for ATKINS run....do not do it. i assumed i became into so smart and so did each and every of the persons I confident to circulate on Atkins reason I lost 29 lbs in a month, yet... not basically did the burden come good back the minute I have been given back to the genuine international and ate some carbs. yet I gained back extra, plus I became a B*tch collectively as in this weight-help plan. CRANKY!!! and it became into sooooo not common to pay interest as your recommendations has no power because of the lack of ability of carbs. it is so bodily undesirable too. It became into exciting for the 1st couple of days, Viscount St. Albans, cheese, steaks, salmon, nuts... AKA fat fat fat fat fat fat...then you definately start to sense like a pan of oil. Makes me unwell recalling this weight-help plan. How approximately including slightly lean protein to the veggie weight-help plan and workout the burden off, then you definately could have a company toned physique.

All diets are good for a short period of time. However, to lose weight and keep it off you must change your lifestyle. Weight Watchers seem to be the best for that. You must maintain a well balanced eating pattern for your body to fulfil its maximum potential. Exercise in moderation is always good. It is not easy to pass up those carbs and sugars, but sooooooo necessary.

I have done both the Atkins and South Beach. Atkins says that you can consume as much protein as you desire. I lost weight on Atkins, but South Beach is much healthier and easy to stick with. Good Luck!

As long as you exercise every other day for 20 minutes . You can eat as much protein as you like then for about a month. After that you won't be able to lose any more because your body will require much more balance.

Be very careful with this diet...I may worked for you..but I know some people who got sick at the end.........The best diet would follow half protein half carbs and lots of fruits and vegetables. It probably takes more time but you will get where you want to be.

Good luck

You can have as much protein as you like, but you want it to be healty protein. As far as the carbs you can have a few more than that. I just lost 100 pounds so don't starve yourself eat as you normally would it's all about your portions sizes.
