God's love isn't based on eligibility. God loves you as you are - where you are. It is through conviction from sin that makes us want to correct our wrongs.

I accepted Christ 13 years ago, yet I am still a sinner. Even though I know my sins have been forgiven, I still get convicted for them. (Through the blood of Christ, we are cleansed of them so we don't have to bear the eternal punishment for them.)

He loves you because His love is unconditional.
If a child does something wrong, does a father turn his back on the child and stop loving him? No, he corrects the child and loves him regardless of what the child has done wrong.
In the same way, our Father loves us, even though we've all sinned. And that is a great gift.
Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
But God still loves us :) And that's amazing!!

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found;
Was blind, but now I see.

This song was written by John Newton.

Newton’s mother died when he was seven years old. At age 11, with but two years schooling and only a rudimentary knowledge of Latin, John went to sea with his father. His life at sea was filled with wonDerflu escapes, Vivid dreams, and a sailor’s re cklessNessa. He grew into a godless and abandoned man. He was once flogged as a deserter from the navy, and for 15 months lived, half starved and ill treated, as a slave in Africa.

A chance reading of Thomas à Kempis sowed the seed of his conversion. It was accelerated by a night spent steering a waterlogged ship in the face of apparent death. He was then 23 years old. Over the next six years, during which he commanded a slave ship. . .

Are you in a meaner state than selling other humans for profit?

I wondered that myself too untill I had children myself. Then I got a good look through God
s eyes as to how he will always love his child no matter what the child does. God is not blind love, he wants you to ask for forgiveness, wants you to grow and learn just like any loving parent does, but he is ALWAYS ready to accept a sincere apology. No matter how big your sin is, God's love is bigger. All you have to do is ask for forgiveness.

God loves everyone. HE loves you more than you love yourself. No matter what you did, it wasn't bad enough that he won't love you anymore. He gave you free will for a reason. If no one sinned, the world would be full of people just as perfect as Jesus and /or God and no one can be as perfect as Jesus and / or God.

Besides right and wrong/black and white are purely human distinctions. The real world is all shades of grey - right and wrong probably don't even exist. everything is a shade fo grey in the middle. But that's just my opinion.

We have all offended God with our sin. The Bible says all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. The answer is to ask for forgiveness and He will hear your prayer. It's called repent, or turn away from the sin, don't do it again. Ask for God to forgive you, He will because He is loving and good.
I John 1:9 says "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

After you confess, ask God to reveal Himself to you. If you have a Bible, start reading in the New Testament, the book of John which is God's love letter to you!

Jeremiah 29:13 "And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart."

God can and does reveal Himself to those who seek Him with a pure heart. He does love you!!

unconditional LOVE is like sunshine, always there shining on all, even when you pull the vail so you can hide from GOD while you sin, THE light of GODS love penetrates everything, you only block your view of GOD. You only shame yourself, you can't offend GOD. Even though you make your seat in hell GOD will be there with you. WITH CONTRITE HEART, TURN TO GOD ANY TIME ANYWHERE AND ASK FORGIVENESS,THIS WILL REMOVE THE VAILS THAT SEPERATE YOU FROM GOD.

Gods ways are above our ways. We usually still love our children even when they sin, multiply that by about a thousand, and that's how much God loves us.

God is love? Really? Like this kind of love?

Exodus 11:5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.
11:6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.
11:7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel
