Exactly, because once people could see they could see what was wrong and right, which is what was not wanted in the garden.

There is/was a religion called Gnosticism (from the Greek word for knowledge). They believed that the god in the Garden of Eden was a lesser bad god who wanted to keep mankind imprisoned in ignorance, the real higher God sent the serpent (his messenger, also Christ) to enlighten humans as they had come from him (the higher God) but were imprisoned in the garden (Earth in ignorance) which the evil god (Satan) portrayed as paradise.
This was not wrote as some weird insult against Christians, it is a real teaching from the Nag Hammadi Library.

I don't think the Garden of Eden was great at all. Trust me, I was there. It was nice and all, but there was no sex, because reproduction was God's idea of punishment. Also, there were lots of snakes, and... it kind of gets to ya after a while. I guess it's good once in a while, but I wouldn't want to go back there for more than a weekend vacation.

It has some really exotic fruit though, not that bad tasting either.

There weren't any Moslems, Republicans/Democrats, women (at least for the first few days), housing developments, taxes, lousy television shows, teenagers, talk radio, illegal immigrants, traffic jams, tainted spinach or schools, either. But you're just focused in on the lack of Christians. Wonder what that makes you.

Did you think that YOU weren't in the Garden of Eden, either?

No, the Garden of Eden was a great place because there weren't any Atheists. God interacted openly with Adam and Eve. They were believers!

When you say there weren't any Christians, you need to know what a Christian is. Believers in Jesus Christ in the early church were called Christians because it meant 'little Christs'. They didn't call themselves that, NONBELIEVERS invented the term because they saw the similarity between believers' behaviour and that of Jesus. With that in mind, I have some reluctance about calling myself a Christian - I'm not sure that I can live up to that name. Many others claim to be Christians, but I think that many have too high of an opinion of themselves.

The only people in the Garden of Eden was Christians. Adam and Eve and God created them, the devil was there also but he was a serpant. God created him also.

You got it all wrong because there were Christians, because Adam and eve were there, and it was so great in the garden because in the beginning when god created everything God looked and said it was good.

There weren't any Muslims or Athiests either! I'm SURE that there won't be either!

A brighter future indeed!
