Exercise> Oh, hope I didn't lose you. I suffered for almost 40 years with your same problem. Went to a clinic in San Diego where the Dr. treats the Chargers. I started with mild stretching and continued on from there. Also, if you have access to a pool, the water makes you lighter and the stretching wasn't as painful. I am sure a physical therapist or even a member to a work out club could help you get started. Just remember easy, slow and only for about 10 minutes to start with.

I have sciatic nerve pain too. I've been wanting to try Flexprotex. I saw Patty McPeak on tv and was very impressed with her. Two of the things in it ginger (you can buy at the market) and yucca I think you can get for less at the health food store. And by the way I don't own stock in this company or sell it's products...just think this is something good and wanted to pass it on to you.

Try massage therapy! Some massage therapists specialize in sciatic pain relief but be prepared for some work on your glutes(butt) because the piriformis muscle is underneath the glutes and the piriformis is the main cause of sciatic problems.

I have heard through the grapevine that lecithin tablets are good for sciatica. As for arthritis, you need to be more specific about what kind of arthritis you have. If nothing else, I would recommend adding fish oil tablets to your diet.
