It's tangled Christmas lights. It is taken from a Maya Angelou poem, and is totally true! her you go:
"I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.
I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights.

Let's see. Fifty years ago it would have been ( for females) a snag in her nylons. Now I would have to say for both sexes waiting in line, getting bumped by an airline, or a computer thats down.
