I lost my cat a few weeks ago and haven't found her. She had a unique personality-- she hated everyone but me. She would scratch anyone who I didn't like and who she thought might hurt me. She left her 1 1/2 year old son, and now after spending time with me petting him, he's slowly becoming more and more just like her. He comes to me when I just stretch my hand out, while the rest of my family has to go to HIM. (Yes, I live with my family, I am 13)

Do you feed the cats more often than anyone else?
It may be that you give better love than anyone else in the family. Cats are territorial in nature. They often claim a person as their own and will fiercely defend their rights to that person.

Uh, you're owned.

I have had cats like that. Some just develope a close bond with one person rather than the family.

Animals know animal-lovers and people that are sympathetic to them. I'm sure your kitties just feel drawn to you and understand the capacity of love you have for them.
