It drives me out of my skull.I almost posted this very same question the other day.If you look through my answers you'll see that I have pointed this out to many users. It is physically(and grammatically) impossible to loose weight.I can't even believe I stumbled onto this question.I have even put this in the comments box of resolved questions.
Next on my list of pet peeves are then for than.effect for affect, there for they're.The list is entirely too long to type.I feel it necessary to point this out in my answers. If you're answering to help someone, why not help them with their grammar if you have the room? Here's a link for example.

I particularly have a definite affinity for Yahoo solutions, however the horrid spelling and grammar is disappointing. i've got faith that my tax money are being wasted. And Yahoo provides a spell checker, too. Conversely, you may examine superbly written responses here.

there are always two different spellings for some words like that. Try not to take it too serious unless your a teacher marking a essay paper or a test paper.

Remember, each word is different yet the same. Used in different contexts, it can be mean't differently too.

I suppose it can be irritating in the same vein when questions are posed using both an exclamation point and a question mark, when clearly, it is incorrect to do so in better writing.

Sounds like a lose, loose situation! because people are still going to do it. As long as you know what they mean, it's o.k. because there's nothing YOU can do about bad spellers. It's petty. but I know what you mean.

I won't deny such mistakes bother me, but then nothing is perfect in life. So accepting the nuances of the society and people should be the norm. You can try and educate when you come across but I wont waste my energy on it.

It's the same reason why people spell laboratory labratory. As the saying goes, you are probably a little "nit-picky."

It does bother me that haff uv da peepel n Merica caynt spel r reed r rit r... you know what I mean. (LOL)

And the other half thinks they can. (LOL)

If I can be of further assistance, let me know.
