They are to busy marketing rebates and discounts to get rid of the rest of the junk no one wants

Because SAAB is for an entirely different market than any of the other GM brands, and they didn't know how.

Saab is more popular in Europe...They wouldn't market it much in North America because they don't sell/expect to sell too many Saab's here. Not sure about the commercials in Europe though.

its GM's second most unique brand (second to Hummer), and its a category of vehicle they have never delt with. Saab has improved since they took it, and gone way past Volvo. You see ads a lot in travel magazines going after the business group

GM is screwing up w/ SAAB products to begin with. Their cars can barely compete w/ other luxury marques. They also didnt give a **** to SAAB legacy tilll that "Born from Jets" campaign now.

Cause they suck they would rather promote crappy chevys. GM screwed up SAAB, Ford screwed up JAG.

Who said they did a bad job?

From what I've seen, they are targeting a more affluent consumer through business, tech and travel magazine ads.
