f you want to read about the voters I met on Nov 2nd 2004 in the rain, in line up to 13 hours, risking health and job loss to vote, then you will read this. Every American should read this.
It is first hand knowledge of what happened here in Ohio in 2004 by a voting rights advocate. You can call me a liar, Republicans, but I know that I am a Christian and I know what I saw.
HERE IN OHIO..there were record turnouts...We took to the streets in record numbers and registered 10 times more democrats than republicans..I spoke to people as I worked the polls who had never voted or never voted for 15 or 20 years who turned out.
We waited in lines up to 13 hours to vote..in the freezing rain with winds so strong they blew up umbrella inside out repeatedly and blew away my chair ..We handed out free food and trashbags and drinks and brought chairs..We encouraged each other to wait in line despite angry bosses, crying kids, and saw elderly

showing up with IVs from the hospital and older people n chemotherapy waiting in line
three hours and passing out and not getting to vote, People were passing out
literally. Kids were crying from hunger and boredom.
We saw our young working the streets and participating and our old suffering in 5 hour lines...
We saw the poor and minorities, who had so much to lose voting and working hard and breaking all the stereotypes, we saw the patriot poor and minorities and college
students have their votes suppressed and witnessed their votes not counting.
We saw crying people forced to leave the lines or lose their job or to pick up their
kids who didn't get to vote after waiting three hours.
We saw people standing 15 hours the day before campaigning stand the next day all day and night at the polls.
We saw the same people standing outside in freezing winter of 04 and early 05 in
winds 50 MPH shivering and protesting our stolen election and the mass

protesting our stolen election and the mass voter suppression and the machines that are so insecure.
These are the finest people you could ever
meet. These are Americans patriots.
We saw people wait in line 2 hours, be told them were in the wrong line
or precinct go and wait 2 hours again or be purged from the roles after living in the
same house 50 years (Like Amos Caley), We saw people being sent to three precincts and still having to vote provisional. We saw thousands leave the lines without voting due to parenting and work commitments.
We saw people show up angry and crying at voter hearings after the election. I see
every week people in Ohio still fighting to fix the vote.
I saw the heart and soul of America that Nov 2nd 2004 be deprived of their
right to vote..the right won by the blood of others. The fight our troops have died
for. And it all makes me very angry.
How many of these people will never vote again because of what happened

And that’s st fine with those pulling the strings and stealing the elections...just makes it that much easier to steal the elections covertly. I will be adding things in the additional details shortly so check back.

What I want to know , what my question is is how Christian republicans can justify this in their own minds when Jesus said love the poor and the Bible says do unto others
and to those people who are not hateful like those that have been responding and calling me a liar and such, what do you think of what happened to these people in Ohio and in essense to you as well.

By the way lost and confused, no the polls DON'T lie and the chance of exit polls being wrong statisically is over a million to one..for them to be worng in three states as they were is over 16 million to one..Exit polls are historically extremely accurate that's why we here in Ohio are now doing citizen's parallel elections.

edit to Ivote do you..Many people do vote without believing it counts..less will now and the young people were amazing in Ohio this election...on the street working before the elections..many stood on street corners in the rain with signs reminding people to vote and campaigning..it was the college students who were victims of deliberate voter suppession through less machines than normal despite high number of new registered democrats..it was the young who stood in line for 13 hours..don't twell me the young don't vote..they feared a draft and wore the vote or die shirt..just because your slacker friends don't vote, do not generalize..the young very much impressded me during the election. I am proud of them..they brought food to people in long lines in the rain and trash bags.

above edit was for butterfly not I vote do you. this is for her.. in many places were machine were, it was 85 to 95% democrats..again the republican newspaper, the Columbus Dispatch reported there were less machines than in the previous election and in this election's primary than before despite several times more registration than reps. I registered people in 90% black shopping centers..approaching whites and blacks..of the 225 I approached, over 200 were registerd and all but 5 eagerly registered..that is a sample that showed 99.5% registration among blacks/poor Ohioans. Ths paper also reported more machines in republican, rural, and rich, and suburban areas..sworn testimony from poll workers living in suburbs said 5 or 10 mionute waits and then working inner city polls and seeing 4 or 5 hour waits. I personally worked 2 prcincts in primasries and in 99% black precinct and mixed poor precinct campaigning and lines were 5 to 10 minutes.--6 months later during election the lines at

same places were 4 and 5 hours long..paper --this is violation of constitutional that all are equal in rights..also paper reported later 75 machines working found in a warehouse while poll workers begged for them due to lack of and broken machines..one precinct had zero working machines and all voters had to vote provisionally. BOE was impossible to reach.

I vote also it is not true the board of elections always notifies you..about 2 years before this electuion, I went to vote where I always voted for 18 years..the doors to this school were locked with NO note of where to go..I went to library where people were voting to find out where to go..they sent me to one place..wrong place..they sent me to another two miles away where I waited in a long line..wrong place..after going to the 5th place, I finally was able to vote 5 minutes before poll closed. I was PISSED and called BOE next day..they essentially didn't care, so I know this happens sometimes..especially this election..again much of it is on film..most of you are woefully uninformed but it isn't our fault as mnost was NOT reported outside of stae; however, we got it all the way to congress to challenge the election..much of the fraud is documented in the congressional report called "what wnet wrong in Ohio" (conyers report)..see it and read..

lost and confused..no the polls don't lie and the exit polls showed Kerry winning in a landslide..the chance of it being wrong statisticians say is million to one..the chance of it being wrong in three swing states was 16 miollion to one or essdentially impossible..we presented this evidence to Kerry staffers and they were shocked. Exit polls are highly accurate (1/2% chanc of inacurracy...also to another poster...not saying democrats on't commit fraud but they do not own the voting machine..those are 87% owned by 3 republican companies and most states are going electronic next election. This isn't just any election..it was THE most important election of a lifetime..of my 56 years.

I'm from Ohio and I voted and I will keep on voting. It is my right as a citizen. If every person who said that their one doesn't count so why bother went out and voted than maybe the vote would have turned out differently. When I went and voted I didn't have to wait but I know there were areas that had insanely long lines.
My age group 18-25 did not go out and vote. More people in my age group voted for American Idol than in the election. I had several friends who didn't vote because they felt their vote doesn't count. I think it is a shame. My future lies in what politicians get into office. I recently got a teaching degree and it is very important that I vote because what politicians are in office determine my job.
86 years ago was the first time women were able to vote. I take the stand that women many years ago protested and pushed so that I had the right to vote and I am going to exercise it.
People complain and moan about how our country is being ran but they biggest complainers and moaners are the ones who do not go out and vote. My stepfather was complaining and my mom responded to him that he doesn't vote so he shouldn't be complaining. Needless to say he registered to vote for the 2004 election.

We had the same trouble here in AZ. The Democrats were rounding up provisional voters from the homeless shelters and parks most of whom were convicted felons and couldn`t vote. We also had the paid illegal Mexican voters arriving in Democrat buses. We didn`t have the ID law enacted yet. My dead Uncle some how registered again from the grave. This time a Democrat. Although I stood guard at his polling station (run by democrats) to prevent him from rising from the grave and voting he managed to vote absentee by mail anyway.
We got the Law here changed and last month in the primaries Democrat voting was down 15%. Now you have to have an ID to vote, and be alive.

Did they have lines stating Republicans & Democrats?
No they are illegal, so the Republicans stood in same lines, rains & time frame. They mail letters when your voting precinct changes - if you do not read them, it is not our problem.
I too, waited in line in North Carolina to vote & was grateful for the right to vote. I hope everyone will vote again & people will
accept the outcome.
If Republicans stole your votes twice, impossible to do, but if -
why do Democrats not try to steal vote. Not honesty i.e. Ted Kennedy & tons of my acquitances. No whiners this year!
