parents who are so obsessed with potty training that they have to give their two cents to every one....they're like, "I potty trained my Sue at 14 months..."; how dare the rest of us let our babies be babies in their presence....or heaven forbid if one of these snobs notices that one of us has a 4 or 5 year old in a diaper...

Oh--there are so many. I think my biggest pet peeve is when parents don't let their kids make their own decisions or when a parent forces their beliefs on the child. I was lucky enough to have parents who respected my decisions in my life--regardless if they were good or bad. Of course I had punishment (while living with them) if I made the wrong decision but I could always choose.

I really hate it when your kid is acting up and other parents glare at you like you're a horrible mom when you know darn well that their kid has done the same thing because no body's kid is perfect. Or when your kid is screaming and you are scolding them and you are glared at like you are so mean, and you know that they must yell sometimes to and if they don't then the joke is on them because their child is going to be spoiled. When you feel like you can spank your kid in public because people will judge you, every parent can punish their own way and I hate when parents judge other people for not doing it their way. And then on top of that when their kid acts up they just sit there and ignore it but if your kid is acting up they expect you to have better control over your child. I hate when parents act like their kid is a little angel and yours is the devil. I had a girl over here the other day and after she had gone home her mom called and started yelling cuz she said her daughter said mine pushed her against the wall so she hit her head. what really happened was she fell I was watching. But... the point is so what if she did push her. They have been pushing each otehr fighting left and right, equally. If my daughter told me that the other girl had pushed her my question would have been "well what did you do to her" I don't think any one kid is more to blame than another, in most cases of course. it's not a competition. Parents should not be against each other.

Table manners. Parents that don't actually sit at the table as a family with their kids. Their kids crawling or running around at the dinner table. Dinner time is the most important part of the day for families to get together. I hate when parents go out of their way to make something seperate to eat for dinner for their kids too. Eat what the adults eat, or don't eat at all. If you cook seperate meals, that child will be determined to grow up a picky eater. I always have my daugher ask to be excused from the table.

if you want to see a good example of what all of these people have said then you need to go to goodwill and watch how the people act!
ive seen kids break things, climb, scream etc and the parents will sit there on a chair and act like they didnt do anything at all!

Parents who take one decision that you make in your childs life, and decide that you are an overall bad parent.
Geez! We don't all have the same parenting styles or the same beliefs. One poor choice doesn't make a person a bad parent or mean they are going to screw their kid up for life.

When they come over to visit and they let their kids run wild in my house, throwing things, taking toys from my kids, screaming, and getting into things that are obviously off limits to children (dishes, mail ect.) and they turn a blind eye to it all. When they are at their own houses they don't let their kids act that way, so why would it be ok to do it here? Basically they don't teach their kids to respect other peoples things!

Parents who don't let their kids get dirty. This also draws into not letting kids play with other kids as their room will get messy. I just think it's really sad. Life is so short!! Some of my favorite memories as a child involved wet pant-legs, mud pies and messy rooms!!
