we have already spoken to the vet, who just says don't feed her for a day then give her chicken & rice. BUt the last time we did this it obviously did NOT work.

The unfailing rule of thumb is... If you would take a child to the pediatrician for the same symptoms, then your dog deserves to go to the vet..

First off, call your vet and mention this to him/her. Watch her diet...no table scrapes and such (watch for others feeding her too!)...you can give her some pepto (dosed for a 2yr old...1 tsp I think) and follow the directions on the bottle. This should help with both problems...again on the bottle is says that if the problem persists after 7 days (I think..refer to the bottle)..see a doctor...FOLLOW these directions. She may have a blockage that you are not aware of. If it clears up in a couple of days then comes back, taking her to the vet would be a good idea. If she has been doing this all her life, she may just have a sensitive stomach...also try slowly switching to a name brand dog food (Science Diet for sensitive stomach...we had to use that for a couple of months for our Great Dane).
Verify dosing with your vet.
Good luck and I hope your baby gets to feeling better!

Take the dog to a vet!! People on this site are NOT qualified tor licensed to give medical advice for people OR animals. This is YOUR dog. Only your vet is familiar with the dog's medical history. As you describe the problem, it sounds serious. If I were you, I would AT LEAST call the vet asap. Like right now!! Good luck.

I would take her to a vet. But frequent stomach problems and runny stool could be anything from a food allergy to ghiardia or coccidia.
The White goo is probably mucus.

Labradors tend to have VERY sensitive stomaches. Although most show tummy troubles when they get older, it's not uncommon to see it when they are young.
My Lab has always had a sensitive stomache. Once I started him on a good, natural food diet (Innova) I left him with it. Changing dog food is not good. They also tend to get stressed easily.
You also must take him to the Vet and check his body for dehydration...pinch his coat along his back..if it springs back quickly he is not Dehydrated, but if it does not spring back and returns to its shape slowly, get him to a Vet fast!
Etiher way, he still needs to go. Keep him off food, until you get him checked by a Vet and place him on a Bland diet..Chicken and Rice (home cooked) until his stool is normal and hard and he stops upchucking....

You need to get to a vet she could have parvo which is one of the worst illness a dog can have my dog almost died from it. This illness won't just go away you need to take it to the vet now!
Look for symptom like vomiting (often severe), diarrhea, dehydration, dark or bloody feces, and in severe cases, fever.
I hope it's not parvo Good luck and best wishes

Take your dog to your vet and tell it to do some x-rays..
When they have vomit it can be many things..
And white stuff means sometime when the stomach is empty...

It could be "garbage gut" which means she ate something that disagrees with her, maybe not garbage, maybe human food. It could be allergies - try better, more expensive, organic pet food. If it doesn't clear up, take your baby to the vet.
