SAY..."You should tell them straight out..."...I feel telling them in a straight out way is HARSH...SO I will try to say it in a polite way...HOPING they understand ...do most people 'GET IT'..OR NOT?

Maybe you could start your statement with the words, "I'm sorry, but ..."

The statement that you are "sorry" takes the sting off a little. At least they know that you are not saying blunt things just to be mean.

Some people, especially guys, do not take hints that well, because they are not used to it. Some people will never understand what you mean unless you tell then straight out (and you probably already know which ones of your friends are like that).

If what you have to say is harsh, then ask yourself if the other person really needs to know (like, if his shirt is ugly, that's a matter of personal opinion that maybe you should keep to yourself).

If it is something that he needs to know, usually it is better for everyone involved to get it over with quickly.

sometimes its betetr tojust KNOW the harsh truth, you can be nice, sayign you dont mean to hurt, but sometimes life does hurt, thats it,.
