Debora - I'd be interested in knowing the responses you got...
Kenny - A serious question deserves a long explaination. I'm not looking for a four word answer either...
IN Atlanta - You cannot logically conclude that any belief is false... therefore, you cannot hate a false belief because you cannot say any belief is false... and if you hate the belief someone else holds, that is akin to hating them, for they hold that belief because of who they are...

OK, I'll read it fellow atheist.
First thing, I think the "uber" haters are those who are either very weak or very strong in their faith. The weak ones attack to feel better about themselves and the strong ones are just plain crazy.
Then there are the posters who post nasty things because they can hide in their anonymity

To answer your question, there is so much hatred because we are born in sin. We must be taught to love, and today we are taught nothing but hate. If a parent does not teach the child how to love, then the child will grow up not knowing what love is. Thus, loveless relationships get passed on from generation to generation.
Animals have no souls, therefore they cannot hate because they are born without sin. They actually have a better capacity for expressing love than humans do because they have nothing to unlearn. It is sad that an 8-week-old kitten can offer more love than an 80-year-old man, but it is true. True love is innocent, but we are born in corruption.

First of all, responding rudely to not getting answers, does not make anyone want to answer your question. People have been explaining and explaining their faith beliefs and hatred and questions over and over again. Maybe this is why not many answers. Maybe, not alot of people got to your question. Who knows?? You don't have to get rude about it.
Secondly, to answer your nonanswered question, you are very right. There is a whole lot of Islam bashing in the wake of 911. People (Americans in particular) are biased towards muslims because of the few extremist terrorists. They are misunderstanding what Islam truly is and instead of learning more, they prefer to spew their hatred, showing their ignorance to the world. It makes them the same as those Islamists who believe that all Christians are evil. They are just throwing insults back and forth to make themselves feel better about their rage towards each other.
Both religions (actually all religions, and nonreligions for you atheists) are so sure that they are right and everyone else is wrong, they won't sit back and gain knowledge to understand one another. And that is because of the fact that one assumes the other is evil, and to let that evil into your mind, (even researching) is wrong to them. So they will remain deluded and keep spouting their hate towards one another.

seanswimsnrt,
The reason why there are those that hate Muslims anyhow, is becuae they are the least sorry about their radical bretheren's behavior than say; Christians would be. Instead, they defend themselves. They make excuses for the behavior of Hezbollah, for instance.
Here, I caught them once upon a time:

They tend to be in favor of sending missles into Israel, and kidnapping young soldiers. They also think that Israel isn't a sovereign nation. I think that they have issues with the whole world. I am a Christian, therefore I believe that it was promised long ago that the sons of Ishmael would be this way:
Genesis 16:10 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude.
11 And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael; because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.
12 And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.
13 And she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?
and to connect the dots:
15 And Hagar bare Abram a son: and Abram called his son's name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael.
16 And Abram was fourscore and six years old, when Hagar bare Ishmael to Abram.
And so it is. And so it is.

Christians have free speech in most Christian countries. MORE countries should have free speech.
You will find that the answers on the internet are a lot more bold and severe than in person. People get some protection from a chat name and will answer what they really think instead of putting on a public face.

It is simple. If what a person says and does is not rightous and does not bring glory to the almighty God, it is the product of satan
And since God clearly said for all of us to love one another as HE loves us. Clearly hatred is the opposite of what God said, and is the product of satan..
John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
But God also said not to have any other gods before Him, so if you are an atheist, you clearly are not worshping the Almighty God, and are with satan. There is no middle ground here. It's either God or satan.
Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Judges 10:13 Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more.

I am a Jew and also don't know why many people have so much hatred for "others." How is it possible that good Christian people elected a monster (Hitler)? How is it possible that good well-meaning Christians would commit such horrors during the Crusades? How is it possible that good, God-fearing people would burn people at the stake for heresy and witchcraft. How is it possible they would burn Jews in their synagogues together with their Torahs? How is it possible that any human being would encourage their children to blow themselves up as suicide bombers? How is it possible that any human being could stand by and watch as those people were being slaughtered, just as those in Darfur, Sudan are being slaughtered today -- on OUR watch?

One reason that your other question didn't get many responses may be because you said you would like answers from those who hate. There may be people who are unwilling to admit that their slurs against other beliefs are hateful.

I do not hate others. Not for their religion and or beliefs. I do however hate the sins that arise from false beliefs.
I hate the murders that others committ, yet do not hate the murderers.
