Depends on what you wish to accomplish. If you wish to get hammered quickly, shots with salt and lime/lemon. If you want to relax and have a good buzz sneak up on you, Frozen Margaritas.
Also, remember that not all tequila is "real" tequila, some tequila can be up to 50% mixto, which means they added grain alcohol to the tequila. Buy only 100% agave tequila, it is a little more expensive, but worth it.

This is also fun with a partner:
Make a fist with one hand, lick the spot near the thumb knuckle (were the web between the forefinger and thumb is), sprinkle salt on the spot, lick the salt, do the shot, suck your lime or lemon wedge.. The last part can be done with a partner. Have someone you like (works better that way) match your first two steps and then "share" a single lime/lemon wedge by french kissing.

The other way to enjoy Tequila is a frozen Margarita..

6 oz tequila
3 oz triple sec
3 oz frozen limeaid
1/4 cup Sugar or Splenda
1 cup water
3 cups Fruit of your choice (I like Strawberrys)
Ice to fill

Put the the first 5 ingredients in a blender, crank it up, Slowly add the fruit, and then slowly add the Ice. when the blender gets full or the ice slows it so it doesn't mix all the way to the top it is done.

If mixed the answer is easy, Margarita
If straight, have plenty of friends and loud music. pour a shot and set in front of you. You will need a shaker of salt and a lemon wedge.

Start by licking your left wrist, (about where your watch would be worn). Now shake a generous amount of salt on the wetted wrist.

Drink shot of Tequilla as fast as possible, and immediately start sucking the salt of your wrist.

After two or three seconds the salt will be too much, insert lemon wedge into mouth with rind facing away from you. Chomp down on lemon and suck all juices out.

Remove lemon and laugh with friends.

Do not attempt if you have to work the next day, or if you have to drive home.
