You just did. You renounced the pact you did not make with God, and you are unchristened. You can tell the whole world now that you are not a Christian. You might also want to fling mud in the face of divinity and stop capitalizing the word god.

No you cannot get "un-Christened". The reason for this is that any religious sect that Christened you to begin with would treat this as an act of helping you denounce their beliefs. In any case, there is no need for you to get "un-Christened". If your disbelief in God is that deep-seated, no religious custom or ritual can change that. A ritual does not change your mind. It is similar to a person who turns vegetarian. If he or she chooses to no longer eat meat, the meat eaten thoughout the time of his former belief cannot be erased. He or she simply chooses a different path.

Most people are spiritual in some sense... which means that they believe in the real reason why they are here on earth... for a purpose and that they are on a path while on this earth to fulfill that purpose.

We are here to learn. Remember this.

Man made religions are here to control the population with vague stories. People who believe in these vague stories are usually the ones who need it. These same believers are the types who would be really bad people and they need to be controlled in some way. They often believe that this is from God because somebody has brainwashed them into believing it.

The rest of us take all the stories from the so-called bible with a grain of salt and realize that there are so many unanswered questions about that book. That and all of the made up stories about the parting of the red sea, the feeding of 12,000 people with 1 basket of bread and 1 basket of fish... how silly for anyone to believe in that and call it faith.

Religion is very personal to everyone. Not everyone will believe what you tell them , either

I have never heard of any one getting UN-christened but if you feel that you do not wish to follow the religion which was chosen by your parents than that is your rite.

If you don't believe in God then why do you care if you were christened or not? Just forget about it is my advice; it has no effect on you either way.

if you dont believe then why do you want un-christened, cos if its not true and you think its a load of crap then being christened would mean nothing to you but being splashed with some water!

If you truly do not believe then a Christening amounts to being splashed with water. Towel off and forget it!

Being christened doesn't mean anything, in my opinion. So there's no way of you becoming un-christened.

Hey, think about this. you got christened, yet aren't a believer...so really, no one's being hurt. everyone agrees that you're good because you participated, and you aren't cursed or something, so just let it stay the way it is. it's like this...when it comes to your soul, you have to make that decision. it can't be made for you, so really, whoever THEY are, are none the wiser. it's your life to live.

Sweetheart, stay christened. If ever you are in dire trouble, ie someone you love is in a life or death situation dying from cancer
and there is no one to turn to I promise you, you will pray to god
