Having UTI's when not pregnant is difficult enough, let alone trying to carry a baby with chronic UTI's. I have chronic UTI's, and have had them since I was 8. I now take cranberry pills, tons of acidophilus (can be found at any health store), and vitamin c. Acidophilus replaces the bad bacteria in your system so you can fight infection. If you've been taking antibiotics, then you need to take at least 8 pills of acidophilus every day! And get off the soda! I cut out most meat (animal protein is bad for UTI's when your kidney is already working overtime), and stop sugar altogether! That's the worst thing you can do to your body! Your boyfriend is right. If you want to have a baby, you need to take care of your body first. Please change your diet, not only for your health, but for your future child's sake.

Well first of all.... you are going to have to stop your coke addiction before you even think about getting pregnant, because drinking a lot of caffeine will slow your baby's heart beat down. Also when you are pregnant you are prone to getting urinary tract infection and that is not good for your baby.

you need to find the reason for the infection first it may be a bacteria that you boyfriend is carrying or you you could have a bacteria your self that needs strong antibiotics. next you should really sit down with your boyfriend and talk about this cause if your not married or don't want to be married having a child isn't all about giving birth its alot of emotional and financial stress involved too.

Thats not true although you would think if you keep having infections that would be enough to make you go cold turkey on the COCA

You shouldn't be having children unless you're married. Trust me.
