my friend gave birth to a child last night. whats the right way to inform other friends.... i mean how do u say this in common language in english...

i thought one of these but m still not sure it sounds ok

1. hey! natasha gave birth to a baby boy last night
2. hey! natasha delivered a baby boy last night
3. u know a baby boy's born at natasha's place

... i don't know... nothing sounds right... how do u say in very normal english language...

2 and 3 sound weird but I think 1 is ok. You can just say Natasha had a baby boy last night.

Well the first one is right but incomplete. It depends on the sex of the person you are talking to. If its a woman make sure you know the weight of the baby, how long the labour was, whether it was natural or cesarian etc. You will be asked and you'd better know.

If you're talking to a man the correct saying is:

"Hey! Natasha gave birth to a baby boy. Lets wet the babies head!"

"Wetting the babies head" is having a beer to celebrate!

There are many ways you can phrase it, but you can definately use either the first or second.
