Depends which.

Some are water soluble and others are oil. If you OD on a water soluble one it can go straight through.

Vit C is a water soluble one. If you have huge amounts it can give you diahorrea. But it takes ALOT. If i'm sick I drink 12000 mg a day (3, 4 times a day).

Don't OD on minerals like Iron tablets that will get you really
constipated.

It really depends on what kind of vitamin you are talking about. If your Vitamin A, D, E or K intake is too high, it can be toxic. This is because these types of vitamins are fat soluble, meaning they do not get broken down in your body the way water soluble vitamins (such as Vit. C, etc) do.
The symptoms of a vitamin overdose can range from mild nausea to kidney damage and digestive tract disorders.

It depends on the Vitamin. If it is a fat solubale vitamin like B,D etc. it could be toxic to your system. But you would have to consume huge quantaties for that to happen. If they are water soluble like Vitamin C your body will only keep what it needs and when you go to the toilet the rest is flushed from your system (pardon the pun)

Reaction depends on the vitamin that is overdosed on. Huge does of vitamin C are passed in the urine. Huge does of Bcomplex make the urine bright yellow and pungent smelling. Large doses of Niacin are dangerous as they can alter blood pressure and heart rate. WebMD might provide some amplifying info.
