I don't think being "lazy" is the right term. You sound like you are depressed and have too much stress going on in your life. So in order to motivate yourself into eating healthy and exercising regularly, you need to find what the problem is that is making you feel so down. Are you sleeping good at night? When you wake up do you feel refreshed? How is your energy level? If you don't have the energy it could be from a number of factors. So we need to know more about you in order to give good advice. Are you trying to lose weight? If so how much? Start getting involved in activities that lift your Spirit and make you feel good about yourself. Good luck!

I agree with the person that talked about having reasons. My reason was my wedding and I am still going even though my wedding was 3 months ago. You also have to change your way of thinking. It's not a diet, it's a lifestyle change. You can still have some of those "forbidden" foods, but you just have to watch your portions. I actually measure out an ounce of chips or I'll only eat one cookie out of the box. You want to make changes that you can stick with. There's no point in going on some fad "diet", only to lose the weight and then gain it back later on down the road. I know I will have to watch what and how much I eat for the rest of my life if I don't want to be fat again. Get a friend to exercise with you. My favorite activity right now is rollerblading with a friend. The time flies by and we have fun. Find stuff that's fun for you and you actually want to do. And if you need a reason, do it so you can look hot! Good luck!!

Maybe this is rather unusual but it works for me and few of my friends.
Always wear tight sexy clothes (if you are not too overweight) so you can clearly see and feel all the bulge. That will always get you reminded and give you motivation.
Keep your too-small clothes on top of the stack. (your old favorites, now doesn't fit anymore, or buy a new one that you really2 like at 2 or 3 size smaller, and cost a fortune so you'll feel really bad if you can't wear them)
So each time you get dressed, you'll see them, and maybe try to wear them (hoping so much they'll fit). Then you'll keep reminded : ouch..., I'm still too fat, I'll have to fit in that jeans, soon!
Good luck

Ok, this is working for me. I'm planning on dressing like a girl for Halloween (I'm a guy) and so I bought this cool leather mini-skirt (from Ebay). It's a little small for me right now. I've been wanting to loose a few pounds (10, maybe 15) for a long time but haven't been able to get motivated enough ... until now. Now I have this really cool outfit with the leather mini-skirt and I am going to make sure I can wear it for Halloween! This is working for me, with that in the back of mind, less eating and more execise is happening. Get something you want to wear (badly) and get it in the size you want to be (realistically) and keep it on your mind, maybe hang it out in your bedroom, or in the living room (mine stays in the closet - hehe).

I was in the same position and I started using Stack Body Tune Up. I also started using an energy drink called Advanced Cell Therapy. The first 10 days, I lost 8 pounds.
That was in July, 2006. Now I am 32 pounds lighter.
If I can be of further assistance, let me know.

The crisis with happening a "nutrition" is that the phrase "nutrition" implies whatever transitority or whatever that's a difference from the usual events of your lifestyles so to obtain a outcome. Everybody is aware of that as quickly as you acquire your outcome out of your nutrition, you quit eating plan and also you have got to begin in all places once more. My notion is exceptional. Instead of happening a "nutrition," we're slowly going to difference our subculture. Once we create more fit subculture conduct for ourselves, those will probably be everlasting, and rather of accomplishing a outcome from the subculture, we acquire the subculture itself, so as to come to be the usual events as an alternative than be an extra path from the usual events. So the important thing right here isn't to believe that it is a holiday from the norm till we acquire a outcome, the secret is to persuade ourselves that this difference IS the brand new norm, and that the outcome we're watching for will probably be unrealized given that it'll without problems be the method of imposing those pillars every day with out considering--as though they're moment nature. So don't believe of the matters you're doing as a sacrifice or responsibility to your self, without problems regard them as you could regard a brand new activity or a brand new apartment--they're whatever that you simply selected for you to be the way in which you establish with your self any more. This is all approximately doing matters which are traditional for our our bodies, and that our our bodies were developed to do--which individuals are much less and no more prone to do given that tradition impacts us NOT to. Break clear of cultural traits to commodify colossal, expensive foods and lazy afternoons after paintings and pay attention to what traditional traits have factored into the maths good fortune of our species.

It's nice to have a "reason". It could be anything. I have several "reasons" that I try to remember, for example:
* This year I want to be able to Ice Skate at that nice outdoor rink my city builds each year for the "holiday" season. Last year, too heavy for skates, I could barely walk. This year, I will be able to skate if I drop another 30 lbs before the season.
* In two weeks, my host family from Germany will be here and I havn't seen them in 25 years. So I want to lose as much as possible in the next two weeks...so I am extra careful to stick to my food and exercise plan
...because I have "reasons".
