They are ginger tabbies and the kids want to call them Thunder and Tiger. Help me talk them out of these names.

When my son was 5, we got two brother kittens who were ginger tabbies. He named his Elvis and I named the other Baby.

How approximately Sugar and Spice...or what approximately Thelma and Louise? seem at their personalities and then come to a decision. this is complicated whenever you first get them. we've 6 cats and it continually sounds like we toss around a attractiveness for some days and then some thing basically kinda "sticks". call them some thing exciting and that should not be too embarassing once you're taking them to the vet. good success !!!

My kitten is called 'Meow'
The big cat is catted 'Tig Tig' (coz ma son couldn't say tigger when he was small)
The gold fish is called JewJewBee
The hamster is called Foodels
and last but not least The gerbil is called Toodels.
You should call your animal something creative since children have to be named appropriately.

What ever you name them make sure the names don't sound the same. Animals don't listen to the actual word you say rather just the general sound, that's what they distinguish between. My bad when i named two of my cats Tigger and Akira. (both ending in "a") When i call the one or the other they both look at me whilst the third wont respond till i call her.

Well the way to name kittyens is to wait and see what thier personality is like . And the kittens will tell you what they want to be named. Or the other way is that sometimes a name will pop into your head . That's what I named my new male kitty my boyfriend got me. I named him Little JJ. Cause the first time I saw him , he looked like a Little JJ.
