My 3 year old daughters picture is on a persons My Space site and this person did not ask me if it was ok first. This is not a relative or a friend ,and I have asked her many times politely to remove them.

It is a federal offense --I think. I am a retired teacher and know that at the beginning of each year teachers must get a release form signed by the parents so we may post their child's work and / or photo's on the "NET". Get a free consult from a lawyer. If it bothers you that much have the lawyer write her a letter of warning to remove these photos.. Then, if that doesn't work have the lawyer advise you what to do next. It would bother me! Good luck.

I would think that would be an invasion of your daughters privacy. If you have asked her many times to remove it and hasn't then it may be wrong. Its your child and you told this person no. If she has any info of your daughter on there, then thats not right. I would think you would be able to contact myspace. Or you can contact Tom. He is one of the head guys I think. He's on peoples friends list and maybe on yours. Good luck!

YES!! It is illegal to have a kids picture on the net. They must have your consent to do so. Tell her that she must remove it or you will report it.
Pictures of kids are allowed on the net for legal issues only but they must be through the court.

Well, i believe its not right and you should report it to the authorities, cos people dont have the right to post yur kid's picture on the net without due permission. Try to handle the case in the right and legal way. Take care and take it easy, Good luck. God Bless.

If she's not a friend or family, hoe did she get these pictures anyway? I would report it to someone like the sites administrator.

No. Only time to worry is if it's some stranger that's posting it for freaky reasons.

Try contacting myspace about the issue.
