Aztec Calender says that in 2012 there will be major changes taking place. you might want to read several books relating to this subject some of which go into great detail.

The "real" y2k hasn't hit yet. Computers don't think in terms of "years" instead they think in binary numbers. Even when the year changed from 99-00, software using binary timers were unaffected as 100 years can still be represented as number of seconds using a 32 bit integer. 137 years cannot. So the real danger to computer systems will be mid 2036 when all 32 bit timers overflow. Granted its not 2012, but hey, how close does a prophecy have to be?

Let's see, now.
It was supposed to end at midnight, Dec. 31, 1000AD. End of the millenium, doncha know?
It was supposed to end in 1712. Mother Ann said so.
It was supposed to end before the end of WWI. Jehovah's Witnesses originally said so.
It was supposed to end at midnight, Dec. 31, 1999. End of second millenium.
It was supposed to end Mar.3, 2003. Some psychic said so.
It is supposed to end in 2029 when the asteroid Apophis clobbers us.
Now you say 2012?
Good grief! How's a person supposed to get her affairs in order if nobody can agree on a date?
Give it up. Jesus said nobody but the Father knows. Why keep trying to second-guess God the Father? Just let Him do it His way. You just live like it's gonna happen overnight. Be like the wise virgins and be ready whenever it happens.

Well, I heard 2012 is the year which presents a relatively high risk with relevance to a meteor hit. One big enough to cause massive tidal waves, that could wipe out entire coasts. I heard the US east coast is particularly at risk.

Those are same people who said it would end on 9/11 or on 6/6/06. There have always been end of the world crackpots and there always will be. Ignore them.

They have been saying that , that I know of since my great grandmother was child. I remember them always saying "the Lord is coming soon, are you ready? So here is your answer.
Matt: 24:44
So you must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
So that is why, the answer is no, it will be when we least expect HIS return, we just have to be prepared everyday.

People have been triing to predict the end of the world for almost 2000 years. No one know when the end is coming except God. Jesus said to his disciples that he desn't know when he (Jesus) will return, Only the Father knows. So all people can do is speculate and then that is taking your eyes and hearts off God. I will be in Heaven Praise God when it is his time for me to return home

Yes , one Born-Again idiots said the same thing to me. If i did not convert myself now, I will be left here with Satan and the GOD will take all the Born-again idiots to heaven.
But I still prefer to stay with Satan instead of living with those idiots in heaven.
