You seem to be really in the dark about diet and weight loss. You really need to see a nutritionist. They specialize in healthy diet and weight loss. They will also help you manage stress, if that's what's causing you to overeat and gain weight. The most important thing in the beginning is to learn about diet, exercise and weight loss. Also you need to understand what causes overeating, because that's usually the key to the problem. A diet plan is useless if you don't know how to manage stress and cravings. So, see a nutritionist and maybe a doctor also.

You need to give us more info. like your age/height/body weight. I agree that if you don't want anyone to know you want to lose weight then you probably have an eating disorder like anorexia. You'll look in the mirror and see yourself as being fat, but in reality you may be very thin. The mind can play tricks on you like that. And from your writing, I"m guessing you are very, very young. If you were to try to lose weight (and fast) it would be very dangerous for your health. You need to see a doctor and get some counseling. Your self image is poor and you sound depressed as well. I feel sorry for you honey, you need to also find a friend whom you can trust in your own age group. And find some activities that make you feel good, like art, or writing, or dancing etc. REMEMBER that you are UNIQUE and SPECIAL, there in only one YOU! You have talents, you just have to find them. And you have to stop stressing over things you have no control over. Find some sense of peace within yourself. Smile and be happy. Remember all those less fortunate than yourself and be gratefull for what you do have. Good luck!

i looked back at some of your old questions.. so your 14 and have been spending a lot of time here lately worrying about your weight.. what's up? why do you think you are fat? did your friends say you were? unless a doctor, nutritionist or your school nurse say you are overweight don't worry about losing weight.. but if you want to be healthy, just make sure to eat right and to get 30minutes or more of exercise at least 3 times a week (preferably every day) and don't worry about getting to a "specific weight" just focus on being healthy.

First you need to know what you want to do. If you want to loss weight in a short time, there really is no healthy way to do that. Now if you want to loss the weight and keep it off then you need to EXERCISE.

My daughter and I started on the "Jenny Craig" plan. The food is yummy and it's very easy to stay on it. After seeing our success, my best friend and her daughter joined and are very excited about finally being able to lose weight and the food is delicious! Today, my husband is joining too!
One word of caution: It only works if you work it. If you stick to their food plan, it will work. If you stray from their plan, it is much, much, much less effective.

A few minor changes we had to sacrafice to acheive our success:
* Avoid and turn down most invitations out to dinner, to a BBQ, to someone's birthday bash, to the whatever celebration that gets celebrated with food. Also, we had to set new boundries with folks who wanted to bring over chips, Oreo Cookies, Ice Cream, and Red Meats to BBQ. I'm amazed at how we really had to be fierce about standing our ground for those boundries. But, we couldn't have it in the house. Also, each week before we weigh in and buy our Jenny Craig foods, we clean out the refrigerator, and grocery shop for the non-Jenny Craig foods we will need to be successful for the week. Salad in a bag, strawberries, raseberries, blue berries, diet yogurts, non-fat milks, vegis according to the plan, etc. We keep it all very well organized and that makes it easy to eat just what is on the plan. (So delicious!!! Who knew??) I wish I had done this 13 years ago after the birth of my last child.

Good luck!!

Once on I Love Lucy, the girls got Lucy a big box that she could sit in and sweat all of her fat out. But be careful, cuz even though Lucy fit into the dress, she didnt have anymore energy to dance at the club!

Weight watchers is a great program...they teach you all about what to eat and how much and it's regular food and noone will know unless you count your points out loud or tell them.

Why don't you want people to know, it's probably because you aren't' fat, you just have poor body image. eat healthy...losing weight quickly is unhealthy and you will gain it right back when you eat something again.

I would talk to your doctor and see what they would suggest. Try the low carb diet. That one has helped alot of people.

Good luck to you!
