my current MOL is great and I have no problems with her.....my previous MOL is another story. We were not enemies b y any means, but her son abused was abusive to me and my boys. One day my ex was yelling at me, I did not do anything wrong and if I did it did not warrant him yelling at me the way he did, calling me stupid and just treating me like a child that needed scolding, during this time my MOL called and my ex answered the phone and he handed it to me, I just lost it and started crying and saying that, he's yelling at me and I didn't do anything wrong, I didn't do anything. She tells me " Well sometimes that's just the way it is".
That was a light bulb moment, I knew I could never talk to her again, especially about her son. I know it is not the most evil thing a MOL could do, but it is the most profound thing that my ex MOL has ever said to me.

I have nothing bad to say... She was a gem !
The only thing I can think of that made me take notice would been during a time I was telling her how wonderful her son (my husband) was. That he is the greatest person I ever met. She replied with " of course you would say something nice about him to me, I am his mom".
She didn't realize that Me being as blunt and honest as I am, I would of told her that her son was a real prick if he really had been.
Just caught me kind of funny that's all. I guess she really DIDN'T know me very well. But I loved her and miss her.

So many ..... Let's see she told everyone that I was after my then boyfriend that I was only with him for his money (he was in a car accident) but then she was the one that "helped" him spend all of his insurance claim in 1 yr. Then she threatened to try and take my son away from me. She's learned over the years though that she can't control what my husband and I do so things are better now. (probably because we're 12 hours from her :)

Every time my son does some idiot kid thing, like swim in a ditch, hit his sister, or not turn in assignments -- she giggles, and then blames his behavior on something else, the kid he was with, his sister, the teacher. I hate that! It's never his fault, always someone else's. Drives me out of my skull with anger!
Thanks for the chance to vent!

My mother in law made me wear a long sleeve shirt and long pants in 100 degrees to hide my tattoos in her home town. I almost died from the heat.

Is when she said to our relatives that her other daughter in law was the best girl in the whole world and that she was responsible and loving, when I am the one who looks after her all day. She says that her other daughter in law is like her own daughter and that she is lucky to have a daughter in law like that.
Her other daughter in law is her own brother's daughter so she supports her brother's daughter.

I loved my mother-in-law until she uprooted herself and her younger children to shack up with a guy that she had known for six weeks and met on the internet. As part of this deal she informed my husband that if we didn't allow his younger brother to live with us that he would have to drop out of college and it would be our fault since she couldn't be expected to drive him the hour and a half each way to school everyday. But I think my favorite was what she did to us when her mother died. Before the above mentioned uprooting my mother in law lived with her mother. After my mother in law left her mother got sick and after about 2 years had to move in with us because she couldn't live on her own. My husband's grandmother only lived with us for 3 months but after she died (about 12 hours after) my mother in law informed my husband that she was going to sue us for everything of her mothers in our house. I knew she didn't have a leg to stand on but in an effort to not make the situation worse I told my husband that we should just pack everything up and give it to his mom. My husband agreed, but told his mom that he would give her everything she wanted but he never wanted to see her again and she said "that was acceptable".

she gave my son a piece of french bread after I told her not to cause he was young the bread was too hard and big and he would choke, and then the **** gave him the bread, it occluded his airway, his lips turned blue cause, that **** gave him bread and he was choking and not breathing because of her stupid fat ***, and then she had the frikkin nerve to throw her hands in the air and panic and scream call 911, I would have choked the life out of her myself had my son died that day, he would have been dead or a damn semicomatose vegetable cause alot of brain cells would have died from lack of oxygen waitng for 911 to show up, I did the heimlich manuever immediatley and the bread came out and he was okay. then after I calmly saved my babies life ,I called her a stupid ***** in her own home .and told my husband I would kill his dumb ****** ***, if he said one word about disrespecting the person, I was gonna have to kill ,for murdering my baby .and I would kill him too if he tried to stop me, in the event this action became necessary. and if he ever let her do that again ,when I was not around and my child died, he better never let me find him, cause I would hunt them both down and kill them, this incident boils my blood today, just thinking about it, I am a peaceful person, but anyone murdering my child, is going to be murdered by me, I dont give a damn who the murderer is
