What kind of a guy would rather go home to sleep (by himself I am assuming) than stay at his girlfriend's house and sleep with her (and maybe get some _ _ _)? He says it's because he has to get up and go to work early, but what the heck, what kind of guy ever gives up the chance to have _ _ _? Especially a 24 year old? The book, He's Just Not That Into You has a whole chapter on this subject... in my mind, if a guy is "into you" he will take any opportunity to get busy... right?

Believe it or not, as important as sex is, they are other priorities in life. If he has to work early and needs a full night of sleep, why are you angry about that? If he is using this as a constant excuse, then you have an issue with him. Good luck.

yeah somethings up,hes 24,you dont give up the comfort of a womans arms and possibly sex for your job at 24,maybe 30 or even 28 but not 24,the book is correct if your into someone youll stay up all night just to be with that person no matter what the cost for work or whatever.because time spent with the one your into is much more valuable then sleep

"if a guy is "into you" he will take any opportunity to get busy... right?"-Not necessarily, maybe he has the utmost respect for you and didn't feel like the timing was right. He probably didnt want to feel like he was taking advantage of you. You should discuss this with him to see which direction he's going. Whether it be that he actually has morals and didnt feel the timing was right or taking advantage of you. If you guys havent done anything yet then this could be the reason. If you guys have done something already then you need to find out what's going through his mind.

Well... i'm a HUGE Sex & the City fan and when Aiden didn't want to sleep with Carrie right away it wasn't because he was gay or wasn't interested but he wanted to make sure that sex meant something and it was just sex. But on the show, Carrie asked him what the deal was... instead of playing the guessing game. Trying bringing the topic up and find out the truth from him...

Not only that but if a guy is really into you he would stay the night even if you told him there would be no sex. You are right, the book is right. Drop this guy. He might have other things going on that you dont know about.
Once my bf told me he wasn't going to spend the night because my alarm clock bothered him. I checked up on him and he was at a bar with a coke whore cheating on me.

Do you know where he lives & who he lives with???? If he indeed lives alone.....how long have you known him? There are some guys that have values in regards to sleeping with someone, you might need to get to know him better. The other possibility is that he might hate to go to work dead tired...no fun!
If it is on a weekend & turns you down....you should be having this conversation with him.

Believe or not, sometimes the penis gets out voted....maybe you're a chore in the bed and he was really tired ...needed some rest...for work next day...maybe he knew what was going down and did'nt have the energy for it.

He;s not into you, and maybe someone was waiting for him at home, and maybe he doenst think sex with you is that great, and he'd rather go home and whack off.
And maybe, just maybe, he respects you and doesn't want to use you for sex. Maybe he is interested in someone he has to pursue.
