I have a friend that would like to come to the US and I need to know how to get them here. Besides buying a plane ticket - lol. Any help that anybody can provide, I'd appreciate it.

i find that a military surplus duffel bag works just fine. of course the smaller the friend the better, weight you know. i would recommend a water bottle or two and something to snack on. depending on where you are coming from the flight could be long. and if you choose to use ocean, a large steamer truck would be better, more room and better storage for additional water and food.

Depends on which country they are coming from, if they need a visa or not to visit. Most countries are not required to have a visa to visit the USA.

you could always get engaged to this person and bring them here on an engagement visa. that will expedite the immigration process quite a bit if you don't want to get married right away.
