Forget Canada... Belgian beers are the best in the world. And British ales or Irish stouts, although an acquired taste, are superb. If you ask me, there's an untapped market for real beer in the US. I'm sure even Americans must be sick of the watered-down sugary fizz that passes for "beer" over there.

No, but I hope Sam Adams teaches every other U.S beer company how to brew some great domestic beer.

What makes you think that Canada knows how to brew beer any better than anyone else. Most of the brewing methods and recipes aren't even from North America let alone Canada.Beer is beer. Its just a matter of where you come from and what brands of beer you got used to drinking. So the answer to your question is no.Bottoms up!

We brew some good beer now.
Maybe Canada can teach the average US beerdrinker to drink the good stuff.

Actually, Canadian brewing is from the English Lager tradition, while the American brewhouses draw from the German Weiss tradition. Just different strokes for different folks.
Besides, the Irish and the Japanese have the best beer in the world (Guiness and Asahi)...

If you're going by the big beers (Bud, Coors, Miller), you're not going to find a very good beer. There are tons of microbrews across the US that make a great beer. Try Abita, it's my favorite.

Luckily there are a lot of graft brewers setting up in the US so they are finally learning what real beer tastes like.

Oh, that's right, they DO brew some beer up there... I've even seen it. St. Ambroise is pretty good. And what's that other decent one? It escapes me.

If we did... Amnesty International would complain of human rights abuse.... After all, we Canadians have built up tolerance. Giving Americans our beer secrets would be like giving guns to kids... No wait Americans already do this... Can't think of a better simile though...
