Bilolage is excellant! I have really thick, died and dry hair. The shampoo and conditioner (it comes in a tub) work absolute wonders. the only thing is they are a bit pricey. My second recommendation is Pantene with the gold label. It's also for dry damaged hair. Both products help with frizz as well. Good luck!

if your hair is really damaged and dry, dont go to the drug store and pick up the brands there such as pantene, tresamee, and others that you can buy any where. Go to a beauty supply store for hair, I recoment going to your hair dresser or to a local on near by, they have the best for all hair types that really work. They may cost a bit more but at least it will work to the point you will see results. Tell them what they use on clients with dry hair and what is the best seller they will hook you up with stuff that really works. They are hairdressers they went to school for it, they know what they are talking about

Try Therappe shampoo and Humectress conditioner from Nexxus.

If your hair is so overprocessed that it actually has a spongy/rubbery texture when wet, you probably should cut that part off. It'll eventually break off. I used to color and perm my hair all the time.

Have you tried Pantenes new rejuvenating shampoo/conditioner? It's suppose to repair years of damage. Also you might want to ask one your local salons for advice, but they'll probably just push one of their products on you.

one that you may want to try that isnt expensive either is Garnier Fructise...especially the deep conditioner, I dye my hair a lot and it keeps it very soft and shiney...the deep conditioner comes in a little tub, use it like like every few times you shower to get your repaired then once it gets kind of back to normal you only need to use it once a week. it is awesome stuff and it smells great.

i use fruitis shampoo & conditioner for dry/damaged hair, but i also use this stuff called Cholesteral, its basically like a conditioner but you put it in your hair, wrap a towel on it for heat & leave it in for about 1/2 hour, then rinse it out, you will notice the difference. also if you use any heat on your hair (flat iron or blow drier) use a protective spray (v05 makes one) or biosilk oil
