I have some kind of flu or something, I have a bad cough, stuffy nose, lots of wheezing, my body really aches all over. It started mildly yesterday and I bought some Sudafed, but all that did was knock me out and I woke up today and it is a whole lot worse. What is a better OTC med to take for this?

the best thing i have found for these symptoms is the daytime nyquil cold and flu medication, that is if you don't want to be drowsy while trying to get through the day, i am from texas and the weather here plays havoc with my health, i really hope this helps you and you start feeling better soon, TEX

Most OTC drugs for colds and flu are just a whole lot of alcohol, which is why you get knocked out.

Try making a tea by boiling a slice of lemon and apple, with some ginger. Make sure to drink plenty of water and orange juice throughout the day, and get lots and lots of rest.

Hope you feel better!

You may think that it could just be flu but to be on the safe side,I think you need to see a doc. I had symptoms like that, that just went on for weeks. So I saw a doctor and it was actually dengue fever and I almost die from it.

over the counter will not help you either see a doctor or drink hot tea and take aspirin and ride it out, I would tell you to see a doctor he can tell you what is going on and give you med.
