We went through this very same thing. Mu daughter is 10 now but from the time she was 2...we couldn't keep her still and she had no attention span. We went through counseling, neurologists, and therapists. They tried clonidine, ritalin, zoloft,
and several other drugs. The school also threatened us and tried to say that we were neglecting her because we couldn't calm her down. They did call child protective services and we ended up fighting them. But we had documentation to prove every way we had tried to help her. She's been out of therapy for a year now, is on no medications, and has pretty much calmed down. If you have already taken him to doctors and had him tested, he's in therapy and you are doing the best you can......then just love him, support him and keep trying. Also....keep paperwork on everything you've done.

Try giving him coffee now and then. See if the behaviour gets better. Cut down or out all sugar intake or as much as possible at the same time. If ADD or ADHD is suspected this should have a calming effect and allow him to be more focused as well. If this test has good results, consult another physician that is open to discuss the possibility of these problems.

This sounds just like my son, he has ADHD and ODD. It is very frustrating when doctors don't seem to want to listen. I have been through so much since my son was about 2 (he's 10 now). Sometime the doctors act like they are listening or like your lying, or they blow you off. My sons father had ADHD and ODD and hes been in and out of prison and has been arrested numerous times and I swore this would not happen to my son. KEEP FIGHTING. I am happy to say that my son is now a totally different child, but it took alot of time, energy, doctors and patience.

Well I'm no expert or nothing, but it sounds as if he's crying out for alot of mommy and daddy's attention. Now I'm no mother, but I learned from watching mine, sometimes as a parent you got to do what you got to do. And from the sounds of it your son is what you got to deal with, meaning you might have to take some time off from work to find out what the problem is. Pray about it, ask GOD to show you the problem, GOD forbid, it might be something more serious than you think. I agree that maybe you should try a different type of specialist, one dealing with only children and their behaviors. But GOD bless, it could simple be him just being a boy (bad) but boy. LOL!

I can't believe that the teachers are threatening to call cps on you cause he wont sit still. If that were the case with mine, then I would be complaining about the teachers. My son is the same way and so is my daughter and my neices and nephews. They all have so much going on in their lives with school and all. How can they sit still?
They are young and there is nothing wrong with your son.
I would have a meeting with you sons teacher(s) and see what they say. Or have his teacher(s) switched.
Hope this helps

I think you need to talk to the school and get there opinion on what they suggest you do. They can also get you the number of a councelor that will report back to the school as well. Because they are having the main problem you need to get them involved. If they call child pro on you then tell them your problem and see what they say.

Try talking with the school and bring in your papers to prove that you have been trying to do everything you could possibly think of and that every doctor and counselor has found him to be healthy. Ask if they have any suggestions.

You may want to cut down on his sugar and caffeine intake. Or try to find him a hobby that allows him to get rid of his excess energy.

Get him involved in martial arts (ONLY if he wants to). Taekwondo is a good one because it is based off of the Korean army. So it is strict in some ways, but a lot of fun for kids. You defiantly learn how to stand still and listen if you are in martial arts. Studies have been done and kids in martial arts improve in all the areas that your child needs.

You have probably filled him full of vaccine, and fed him a near poisonous diet.
Don't blame him - take a look at yourself.
Do you cook nutritious food for him three times per day? Do you have the television on all day? Do you take him out into the countryside to be with nature?
Do you actually show any interest in the things which interest him?
I would guess its down to diet.
Avoid fast food, sodas, sugar, and processed foods. Study nutrition. Avoid vaccinations like the plague they are.
