I know it sound's harsh, but it's the truth. I'm so tired of reading and seeing on the news about these protests or hiding in a church. The easiest solution to me would be round them all up and ship them out when they have these marches. I don't care what country, if you are here without a valid visa then bye bye. Just now I watched the news and one man said "well we pay taxes, everytime we buy a pack of gum then we're paying taxes" hugh? What kind of crap is that? You mean to tell me that any country I visit and buy a pack of gum and pay taxes for my purchase then that makes it ok for me to call it home? I had to move out of the city because in second grade they were still teaching my son his ABC's even though my son could read. This is a big problem for the U.S. and they really need to put an end to all of this. Call is racism or prejudice all you want, it's my right as a U.S. citizen to voice my opinion.

In my humble opinion if you want to come here and make yourself and family a better life...cool. Just do as my grandparents did and be legal. Come in the right way. Learn our laws and language, respect the Constitution and the bill of rights. Work hard, pay taxes, have a great time! Don't be afraid to express your heritage, but embrace becoming an American. It is the best of both worlds. The only place where you can become someone new while treasuring where you have been. My grandfather came here, served in the Navy during WW2. He spoke great English, voted in every election, taught his sons what being an American was all about.

If you don't want to participate and be legal... I agree GO HOME.

I would agree, except for one thing....US immigration is slllooowwwwww. My friend married the love of her life (who was here illegally, but working and actually paying taxes). FIVE YEARS after they got married, US immigration tried to send him home because he was here on an expired visa. It takes MANY MANY years to become a legal alien, and you have to be in the country to be considered living hear, but the visas are only for months at a time yet it takes years to process. Huh?

They are here illegally, which means they do not respect the laws and rules of our country. They don't pay taxes but drain our economy by putting their non-English speaking kids in schools and bogging down our emergency rooms with no medical insurance. They send all their money back to their families so they do not contribute to our economy

Get the hell out of this country. Pay your dues and come back legally and we will welcome you with open arms.

You know I made that same point 2 weeks ago and I was slapped with a violation by these freaks who run this Yahoo forum...

They don't appreciate honesty or freedom of speech if it ain't liberal.

I was also "mysteriously" deducted 9 points just posting a question in the "Immigration" section...

You are right. Crybabies like Ted Kennedy will not like this viewpoint but it is one that makes sense. We have laws and people like him are whining their heads off trying to justify not enforcing the law. Things will get worse and worse until there is some sort of popular uprising. Already, far too many things are in Spanish and that right there is another big problem.

Call your representatives and complain. I do. But then, I complain about everything. AEN

I guess you are right. Americans are illegally taking over Baja California, and that's not fair. Send them back to the US!
