You can believe that 'you' are going to hell if you wish too, no one can stop that. But no, I will not be burning in the firey pits as I have trusted Jesus Christ as my savior and Lord.

It's not offensive to me that you feel you are going to burn. I'm only happy that I have the assurance I am not.

I don't find it offensive...just silly and illogical. I do not have to respect the belief, but I do have to respect peoples choice to believe what they want to.

However, I thought you were an atheist?!?!?

No, it is a common belief among pagan religions. As for Christians, the oldest Biblical Scrolls don't have any words that translate as Hell or Hell Fire. Those were not added until nearly the third century as the Catholic Church was gaining in power and needed way to suppress their followers.

No offense here. As to whether I should have to respect that belief, absolutely not, any more than you should have to respect my beliefs. However, I do respect your right to HAVE that belief, as I ask that you respect my right to believe as I wish.

It's your opinion, and it's not offensive to me because I don't believe it. In America, you are free to express your beliefs, and I have to respect your right to express your beliefs. But, I do not respect your beliefs. Anyone who believes what you believe has been manipulated into submission by your church leaders so you'll come to church and abide by their rules. Do that offend you?

It does not offend me, because I don't believe in hell. I only get offended when people put it out there as a means of passive aggression. If you say we are all going to hell including yourself then where is the aggression?

Yes, you should respect all beliefs, but the Bible says that you are not the one to condemn people to Hell. God is.

This belief of yours does not offend me, it just makes me concerned for your eternal soul. You must believe in God or you wouldn't' believe in hell. If you believe in hell don't you believe in Heaven? I hope you can find the WHOLE TRUTH. There is a heaven & hell that God created & HE died for you & me. Please give your life to him & you will not have to face an eternity of hell .
