Do you read the Old Testament or only the New?

The inspiration for the question was a conversation we were having at a church Alpha session the other night. We were talking about a popular Christian movie that includes scenes that aren't Biblical, but someone has implied that the entire movie was included in the Bible. This person was either mis-speaking or had simly assumed that what was in the movie was also in the Bible, and those scenes were not.

I read mine regularly for a few months, and then I take a few months off to usually read entertainment or Christian-ish related books (Don Miller, Rob Bell etc…)

As usual, if you're not a Christian, I don't need to hear from you. I don't need to hear that you don't believe what I do. You're only wasting your time and proving that you don't follow direction well.

Honestly I wish I could say I read it everyday, but I haven't in a long time. I could give 1000's of excuses, but I have none, and I am ashamed. This is a wake up call for me, THANK YOU!!!!

I love your question. I try my best to read my bible every single night, but sometimes I skip a day or two. Then I make those days up by reading extra on the day's that i do read my bible. I'm planning on reading the whole thing, but I'm still in the old Testament, though I've already read all of Matthew...I took about 4 days reading that

I find it funny that you end your questions with "If you are not a christian I don't want to hear from you," simply because when I have seen people who are not christians say the same thing about not wanting a christian opinion, the first 5 responses are always from christians putting in their 2 cents about how they have a right to defend their religion.
When the question was about circle casting or moon phases or something that christians should have no answer to.

I try to read it every day. There are alot of times I have every intention to read it and then something happens. phone rings, baby cries, etc.& then i just simply forget. I am working on prioritizing things and I need to make that top on the list.As for what part I read I read both old and new.

If you think true follower of Jesus (Peace be upon him) is suppos to called Christian, then I am more Christian then any other Christian because I am a Muslim. I respect Jesus ( pbuh) and Book revealed on Him, undoutedely and unconditionally, because it is commanded in Qura'n(Final testament) and Prophet Muhammad. In Islam, Mother of Jesus is declaired one of the four most high ranking women of earth. We bowdown to God Almighty as Jesus ( pbuh) Fell on his fore head to show his respect towards God Almighty.
We love Jesus, Moses, Abraham, Noah, Adam, and Last Prophet Muhammad ( Peace and blessings on all of them)
We are waiting for second comming of Jesus (pbuh). We pray may God keep us onn right path and keep us in the army of Jesus (pbuh), when he will fight against nonbeleivers and anti Christ. ( Ameen)

I love your last paragraph. There's another question... do atheists know how to follow directions? Anyway, to answer your real question, I dont' read mine often enough and I know that my faith has suffered greatly because of this.
