Probably AVG anti-virus

I use spy bot search and Adware Se Personal. I also have a paid for anti virsus to watch over them.
Yahoo task bar worked well for me to block pop ups, and if you still get them you can contact yahoo and they will stop it. hOweve rI deleted it as it take sup too much of my screen. I have a 19" 17 : viewable screena nd I want ot see it not yahoo task bars all over the place.

Try the Grisoft's AVG Free edition. Preety good and very low on system resources.

it's avg antivirus, plus add spybot seach and destory and ad-aware all three work great together and they are all free. you can get them from download.com hope this helps

i personally like trendmicro's web-based virus scan, housecall. but it doesn't stay resident on your computer. you have to manually set it to scan once in a while. http://housecall.trendmicro.com
