Chinese food has a lot of MSG in it. MSG is an ingredient used to give a "full feeling" so therefore you can't eat as much. They use it especially in Chinese Buffets, that way you won't eat all the food up there!

Japanese food is somewhat "healthier" than Chinese. If you go Japanese Steak Houses they cook the food right in front of you so you see what they are using to cook with. Also, Japenese serves Sushi. (which i personally LOVE)

totally different. Japanese eat lots of sushi, sashimi, which is raw fish, shrimp, rice-differently prepared than Chinese and other healthy foods. Chinese don't eat sushi rolls or sashimi, their chicken is prepared differently, so are their soups.

it's kind of the same, but chinese food is a little more "greasier". japanese people eat more fish and their food is a little lighter. it doesn't seem that way in america because asian food is so americanized now.
