A healthy mix of different colored raw vegetables with some fruit added. Best place I have found re: a health diet would have to be a book by Dr. Gabriel Cousens called 'Rainbow Green Live-Food Cuisine' and/or another book of his called 'Conscious Eating' (the Conscious Eating book is very long, though). Buying organic fruits and veggies will help lower the amount of pesticides/fungicides that can be present in non-organic foods.

One thing I have found is that different people have different dietary needs - for example, my wife seems to do better with more lean meats and some grains...I am a vegetarian (raw food only) and found this to be the best approach for me. This is an important point as you can eat what other people say is good for you and not get the same benefits they do. For example, my wife has problems with cabbage/broccoli (and other vegetables in their family) while I thrive on them.

Some of my favorites - Kale, Swiss Chard, Parsley, Carrots, Apples, Spinach (yes, you can now buy it again in some stores), flax seeds (ground in smoothies), lemons, berries, etc.

In addition to healthily organic food, it is very important to get exercise and plenty of fresh air/water. These aren't really foods, but still important.

Spinach salads, although I haven't had one since the E coli thing.

Love roasted red peppers. Like most vegtables really.
