short hair shouldnt rrrely on your age, it should rely on your facial structure!! if you have the face for short hair, then go for it, if not dont do it. because trust me you will regret it. my aunt cut her hair real short, and she cried, because nothing went with her short hair, she claimed she looked like a guy....!!!

Whatever age you want it at. I think older women are wearing there hair longer these days. I think women who cut it short do it more out of convenience than anything. Really old women don't look good with long hair. So I would say 60 years old might be a good age to have short hair but I may change my mind when I get there.

I wasn't aware there is a specific age limit. I would think it would be whenever you no longer looked good with long hair. I'm what some might consider "over the hill" and my hair is shoulder length. I still receive compliments, so I guess it still looks good. I know a few women who have even longer hair and are older than I am. Some look good still and one or two should have cut it long ago!

everyones right, it doesnt really matter. i t hink its more of when should women stop having super long hair...that mostly looks like teenagers hair and not very sophisticated. sometimes when i see older women with long, scraggly grey hair it looks kind of undone and bummy. usually by that time the hair is so ruined that its so frizzy etc. so, therefor, i don't think older women neccisarily need to have short hair, just a semi short, above the shoulders, modest, sophisticated cut will do. it's really all up to the person/lifestyle/personality etc though

There is no age limit, and very short hair doesn't look good on many women. There is no reason to cut all your hair off, unless it is unmanageable or thinning and you want to make it appear thicker and easier to look after. HTH : )

Don't let anyone talk you into cutting your hair unless you want to. I've been told I'm to old to have long hair. By who's standards??? I'LL HAVE MY HAIR LONG, AS LONG AS I WANT TO, AND EVERYONE WHO DOESN'T LIKE IT CAN LOOK THE OTHER WAY!! Look at Jane Seymore, she's over 40 and looks beautiful with her long hair!! There is no set age you get to do whatever you want to do!
