no. try brands you cant buy at best buy or wal-mart. go to a private audio shop. buy what your ears like, and shope around.

my brother got a 2000 amplifier boss with 2 12 fosgate

and my boyfriend install a planet audio amplifier 300w in my car with one 12 eclipse
my car was louder and still playing the 2000 amplifier burn a month later and the store don't want to refund his money
stay away from that

think of it as you do Kia. it is a korean manufacturer with an american sounding name importing through oxnard CA and distributing anywhere they can.
in the beginning they were absolute C%&P.
Now, brand new in a reputable dealer, they ok if you are trying to save money. But I wouldn't by the amps or woofers, if you were planning to push them hard.
If you just want a CD player that is more flash than substance, and want to save your money for a bigger/ better amp or woofers or other car upgrades, then that's your choice.
just don't pull up to a block jam and hope to impress anyone who knows their stuff. you'll look like Booby Lee from Mad TV and his tricked out Daewoo.
