Every religion has their own believing in God.. Islam - ALLAH ,
Christians- Jesus and so on..and same goes to the No God believers..

Why dont you set your mind and think...

GOD is your body & soul Creator. He creates every single thing in this world. We owe all the priviledges to Him...every thing that you can and cannot imagine of..

And yet, you people make fun, calling Him bad names, make joke out of Him and etc..

Dont you feel ashamed of your self??

Dont feel guilty doing that to your Creator??

He's the One who created food and sent to you..and this how you repay Him??

Dont you ever feel scared that He can just overturn your life to be in miserable for being so arrogant..???

Think people! Stop condemning other people religion. You dont understand their faith and so were them to you..
THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK
USE YOUR 'PRECIOUS GOD-GIFT' BRAIN WISELY...

Peace be upon you all of you.

Hey that is a very pretty soap box you're standing on. Can I borrow it for a minute?...thanks. I do not believe you can be discussing everyone of every other religion and not feel a little strange about your unfair generalization. I have no problem with you or anyone else practicing whatever faith you profess to follow, there is room for all here. It is our differences that separate us from being cookie cutter people and I think it is important that everyone feel like they can be free to be comfortable in their own skin. Muslim's are getting a bad rap right now because of the radical few who are screaming a whole lot louder than those who follow the more peaceful path. It is no different with Christianity or atheism. The squeaky wheel always gets the grease. Perhaps those of us who are more tolerant need to take the reigns back from the fundies and let the world know that we exist. I'm perfectly willing to set aside some of the world's land aside for all of the fundies of every religion. Then they could have at each other until no one is left standing and those of us who can "play nicely" can have the rest of the sandbox in peace.

I think you are under a misconception. Only followers of Jachweh (who claims to be the only god around, but at the same time forbids his followers to worship the other gods, haha) do that.

Or in other words: only the Abrahamics (monotheists, or jewish, christians, muslims) do that. The problem is that they claim there is only one god, and of course it is theirs. There is where all the problems started.

You don't find these fights (or wars!!) in any pagan cultures. While they did fight over other issues (land, alledged crimes), they never killed each other for believing in a "wrong" god! Only the monotheists did (and do!) that.

We pagans are very tolerant when it comes to deities. Everyone has other deities to worship, and nobody is insulting anyone because of their choice of worshipped deities.

In Rome they used to ask people "what deity is worshipped in this household?" before offering rituals or blessings, and I just wished this would come back. Why can we not just accept that other people worship other gods?

Well, we Pagans do that. Only the Abrahamics are the problem. THEY were killing everyone who is not willing to convert. That attitude is still going on. While the literal killing is not in your own country anymore (what happens in Iraq is not shown or told in US-media!!), fundamentalistic christians turn very aggressive against all non-christians, and they don't even hesitate to blur out nonsense like "It must be "Merry Christmas", because the word Christmas is prove that this holiday is for Christians and caused by CHRIST's birth, and therefore the stupid pagans and their winter solstice must shut up" and such...

This shows a huge lack of education, since the birth of the english language and the violent christianisation of Europe were happenenig at the same time in history and are therefore connected. As an english speaker I (the German) expect you to know these things, but my expectations are usually withered within moments...

They never think just one moment about the roots of their own language, they don't even know where their words and terms came from historically. Now, these kind of people can probably not be helped, can they?

It sounds as though you are condemning others for their beliefs. I'm not an atheist, but I'm sure not a Christian either. I'm sorry that others opinions offend you so terribly, but it is just an opinion and a persons right to express it. It's rantings like yours that cause non-believers to have no respect for any religion. I have the upmost respect for those who follow religion and are fulfilled by it. However, it's when one of followers tells me that my way of living is wrong and that I'm doomed that I lose respect for that person and their religion.

Your ranting makes you sound high an mighty and much like a zealot. Zealots are bad publicity in any religion. Religion is entirely personal. Unless asked, keep your opinions to yourself, and people will respect you more for it.

I don't believe in a god at all, myself included, thank you. So I'll make fun of the belief in any god I choose.

G-d, Jesus, and Allah walk into a bar. Everyone turns to stare at them and the room falls silent. Suddenly, Jesus lets loose a massive explosion of rectal gas, followed by Allah. They turn expectantly to G-d who just grins, grabs a candle from a table, holds it to his backside, and lets one rip! The explosion kills everyone in the bar but G-d and Jesus. G-d leans over and whispers, "Allah (all-of) these people are dead, let's go catch a movie."

[Not every blasphemy can be a zinger. :P]

There is but one true religion, and one God. God sent us His only begotten Son (Jesus Christ), Who established His Church on earth--the Catholic Church--the only Christian Church. All others are man-made, including the Protestants'.
It is impossible to insult an imaginary god (such as Allah).
When God said, "...The gods of the Gentiles are devils...", He was talking about the false gods that non-Jews worshiped (also spelled worshipped). The God whom the Jews worshiped is the same God whom the Catholics worship, as Catholicism replaced Judaism, in the New Covenant. Nothing has changed, since then--the non-Catholics have their false religions, with which they pay homage to their false gods.

everyone has the free will and right to the freedom of religion. to believe or not believe is any individuals personal right and privilege as long as they do not infringe upon others individual rights and as long as the laws rules and mores of the culture and society in which they live are obeyed.

Calling atheists believers in a non-God is a gross mis-characterization of atheists. I agree there is way too much hate going on here. Atheists like myself can be smug, insulting, childish and arrogant to be sure. But we are NOT believers. Our thought process is entirely different than that of a person of Faith. If you don't understand, learn more, please.

Prophet Muhammad's Charter of Priviledges to Christians
A Letter to the Monks of St. Catherine Monastry
Dr. A. Zahoor and Dr. Z. Haq, The Islamic Civilisation
(Copyright 1990, 1997, All Rights Reserved)
In 628 C.E. Prophet Muhammad (s) granted a Charter of Privileges to the monks of St. Catherine Monastery in Mt. Sinai. It consisted of several clauses covering all aspects of human rights including such topics as the protection of Christians, freedom of worship and movement, freedom to appoint their own judges and to own and maintain their property, exemption from military service, and the right to protection in war.
An English translation of that document is presented below.

This is a message from Muhammad ibn Abdullah, as a covenant to those who adopt Christianity, near and far, we are with them.
Verily I, the servants, the helpers, and my followers defend them, because Christians are my citizens; and by Allah! I hold out against anything that displeases them.

No compulsion is to be on them.

Neither are their judges to be removed from their jobs nor their monks from their monasteries.

No one is to destroy a house of their religion, to damage it, or to carry anything from it to the Muslims' houses.

Should anyone take any of these, he would spoil God's covenant and disobey His Prophet. Verily, they are my allies and have my secure charter against all that they hate.

No one is to force them to travel or to oblige them to fight.

The Muslims are to fight for them.

If a female Christian is married to a Muslim, it is not to take place without her approval. She is not to be prevented from visiting her church to pray.

Their churches are to be respected. They are neither to be prevented from repairing them nor the sacredness of their covenants.

No one of the nation (Muslims) is to disobey the covenant till the Last Day (end of the world).
Peace be upon you

Because people get so bent out of shape over it and it's hilarious! My parents created me, not god. There is no proof god created anything, assuming he exists.
