It is a fascinating idea....
Advantages:
It is a strong material, so it is feasible.
It probably wont corrode. Ever. So you may not even have to finish it by painting it, just have the plastic producer dye it for you
It doesn't expand or contract anything like steel does. So it wont grow as much in the sun
Some FRP like the ones used in printed circuit boards are rated for fire resistance, even by Underwriter's Laboratories
It is a non-conductive material, so there wont be any galvanizing reactions for materials that have to attach to structures.
Disadvantages:
Although strong, you may need 10-20 times the cross-section, in a compressed state for a designed out, given, piece of steel.
Lateral structures you would need to go to formula as far as strength vs size. I would estimate that steel is 100 times as stiff as a horizontal member
If you use glass fibers, you would be creating hazardous waste (somewhere) when it is cut into shapes.
The details would be in how it is fabricated. The glue would need to be a resin based material. A process would need to be developed to reliably glue relatively large parts together.

Advantages - Nonrusting, permanent coating, easy to mold shapes for heavy production, easy to modify chemically, lighter weight, low heat expansion
Disadvantages - Degradation, heat deflection, tensile strength, flexural strength, toxic components, cost
The highest concern is cost. Now matter how strong or advanced the polymer, steel is still Pound for pound cheaper than steel. The FRP would have to last several times longer in the environment to make up for the cost. The next major concern is the tensile and flexural strength. Increasing dimensions will increase the load bearing of the bridge, so the FRP has to approach that of high-strength steel. Glass reinforcement is definitely out no matter what polymer you use. Recent advancements in carbon nanotubes show promise, and engineering polymers like PEEK or polyimides can make it strong and long lasting. Overall, the current technologies make FRP only ideal for substituting small load bearing bridges made of wood or residential traffic.

I think it will be a problem keeping the allowable flex in the structure below the flexible capabilities of the FRP. This will result in your FRP developing cracks and ultimately failing. Also have to be concerned with UV embrittlement, impact resistance (like in a crash), materails availability, construction knowledge to be able to build it.

1. The biggest problem: Can Polymer achieve the same tensil quality equal to the steel used for the bridge.
2. How is the fire retardent compared equal to the steel for the bridge.
3. Can polymer achieve the same life cycle in years as steel.
Large advantage - NO RUST & Cleaning Maintenance

Very high strength to weight and lost material cost, as well as low cost to create shapes.
Disadvantages would be low impact resistance, flammability, aging and loss of strength over time.

My parents never say or show directly that they are strict...but i should follow few rules laid down by my dad.i cannot break them and he give name to those rules as part of up-bringing,which i really not able to understand the difference. ~few rules are appreciated because those rules made me strong and i gained good name around my circle of friends nd relatives. but i hardly get opportunity to interact with people and understand about today's world. ~they don't mind me being modern but my mom never allow me to wear dresses as i wish. she never say anything directly but she stare at me long and i have to change. over all being restricted by parents are good to some extent but controlling children in all the aspects make us timid, introvert and scary humans.
