My girlfriends are taking me to stay in a haunted hotel for my bachlorette party this weekend. We are going to try to commune with the ghosts in the hotel using an Ouija board. We are doing this mostly just for fun, but will be happily surprised if we find that ghost are real. Do you all have any suggestions on what kinds of questions to ask the "ghosts"? Please nothing crude or immature. I want this to be fun for us and you all answering. Thanks!!
P.S. No we are not witches or devil worshipers so you know... Just looking to have a little spooky fun! Before you say Ouija boards are evil... I got mine at Toys R Us. So unless some little "devil child" or a "witchy toy store clerk "put a curse on it, I am sure it is fine.

Sorry! I'm not trying to offend anyone that is Wiccan or who has any other beliefs... To each their own.

If Ouija boards are dangerous... Why would they sell them at a toy store?

Ask if there is any ghosts in the room. and if you get an answer ask for names and ask why there still here and how they died? ask maybe when they were born if they have family, where there from , hopefully this will help. This sounds like an awesome idea I hope you guys have fun and I hope you find some spirits!!!!

I believe completely in ghosts. They are real. And I AM a witch (Wiccan actually. No, we don't worship the devil. We worship the god and the goddess. There are only two laws. Harm None and whatever you do comes back to you. We don't kill ANYTHING, and we don't force people to have sex with anyone at any time).

But a word of advice, those Ouija boards are dangerous and not all dead people are nice. When you call up someone with those boards, you don't know who (or what) you're actually calling up.

Whatever you're calling up may say that it's a friendly ghost but it actually isn't. And how do you know that once you've opened the door to the land of the dead that you can close it again?

These are dead beings. You can't see or touch them unless they want you to. Yet THEY can see and touch you (or other things).

It's NOT a toy like many people think it is. Ouija boards aren't evil, they're dangerous.

What if the spirit you call up isn't a good spirit? They can touch things and make your life miserable. Some of them can even pick up objects (like knives) and throw them at you.

If you're going to do this, close the door to the land of the dead after. Or you may regret it.

You may have nothing happen, but usually something happens.

The place you're going to, what's supposedly haunting it? A man? A woman? A child? What's the history of this thing? Did it die violently? Do bad things happen there (other than the occasional objects moving, etc)?

That will give you an idea of what kind of ghost you may call up.

Just be careful. It always worries me when people say they're going to play with things they don't understand. Especially when they're playing with fire.

I love the idea of a haunted bachlorette party! Ghost stories, flashlights, maybe a mystery game....

But I have to admit, the ouija board freaks me out. I'm Catholic and I haven't figured out what exactly I believe in these regards, but I've seen/heard enough to know that it isn't something you mess with lightly. Parker Brothers & Milton Bradley may not hold the patent on the spirit world, but evil will use whatever tools available.

Like you said, to each her own.

Not sure about the Ouija board thing, I have not used one in years and I don't remember them being dangerous... I think you have a great bachelorette party in store! that sounds like a lot of fun!!!

As for questions...

- How about ask who the next girl will be to get married in the group?
- Who will be the first (or next) to have a baby?
- Are there twins in someone's future? (sure to get someone freaked out!)
- Will my husband fall asleep before we get a chance to consemate our marriage! LOL :)
- How many children are in my future?

Just some ideas.. hope you have a blast this weekend!

Knew of someone who used a ouija board and was haunted by it. She started seeing things other people couldn't. She threw the board and it reappeared in the house by the time she returned. She only meant good and was asking only good questions but guess she got a bad one(ghost). The board said she would die and he'll kill her. Thats when she threw it again, next day her cat was found headless and a month later she was found dead and severely butchered.
I dunno if you wanna take that risk. But anyway it was a cool movie. haha had you scared for a while. If you're looking for spooky fun then try it, it's all up to you. have fun

This all sounds like fun except for the ouija board. I love to watch Sylvia Brown on the Montell show on Wednesdays. She even says to stay away from them. I would have to believe her. Be careful!! Have a fun time anyways!!

Careful with that Ouji board. :) Weird things have been known to happen. Just remember to keep your questions unoffensive, in case you happen to talk to a tempermental ghost. *lol* And as always, Rule #1: Have a great time!
