If you don't mind buying online you can get really good deals through http://www.frontiercoop.com you can order with some friends and family to get the minimum order for free delivery. Much cheaper than retail!
You can also get chemical free stuff at Wild Oats and other health food type stores. Check out http://www.mothering.com they did an article on this a while ago. brands like Burt's bees and Aubrey organics are good. there are a lot.
