As both a degreed mechanical engineer and a home brewer, a glass bottle will keep the beer cold longer than a metal can because the metal conducts heat more readily. This means that the heat (a form of energy) is allowed to enter the beer faster through a metal can than through a glass bottle. The downside is that the glass bottle also means it takes longer to cool for the same reason, but I think the bottles are better anyway because the cans seem to affect the flavor of the beer.

I think glass bottles are better then the can, and the best way to keep that glass bottle cold is to turn it upside down in the ice, it works great! Can doesnt taste as well as when in a bottle.

I think the glass keeps it colder longer but it also seems to take longer to get cold in the fridge.

Not sure, but to me a cold beer in a bottle always tastes better.

I prefer glass, I gives beer a better taste, ice cold with little ice chips floating in it. Ummm, My mouth is watering just thinking about it!
