start taking a nap when the baby does in the afternoon. The amount of sleep people requires vary greatly from individual to individual. When you are not getting enough sleep you often will start to see things.........interesting things.......whether you need 5 or 8 hours of sleep you can make up for it in the afternoon and still play at night if you take a nap.

For your husband though, you need to be very careful, if he isn't tired and is acting normal, with no seizures than he might not need as much sleep. If he is tired he needs to cut an hour or so of the gaming and get back to a regular sleep pattern. Not enough sleep disturbs brain function and can aggravate his epilepsy.

You need at least 8 hours of sleep every night. You just need to go to bed earlier and maybe go on Yahoo Answers in the morning, or set aside a specific time to be on the computer. You are better off watching tv to fall asleep listening to some relaxing music or drinking warm milk (that works for me) I wouldnt recommend going on prescription medication because of the side effects and you are just going to bed late. Not getting enought sleep, endangers your driving and your ability to operate machinery but it can also lead to weight gain. Hope I helped!

I think everybody is different, but 8 hrs is the going rate. People say that to function at your best and feel less stressed you need that much. But, I tend to go to bed late too, I really need those hours after my 10 mth old goes to bed for myself also. So I understand completely!

Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress, dietary and medical
problems. By making small lifestyle changes like having a fixed
daily routine, relaxing and eating properly, insomnia can be
cured. I found the information at http://tinyurl.com/jfzpz useful
for getting sleep.

If you feel tired during the day, then you are not getting enough sleep. Chronical fatigue will catch up with you, affecting your immune system and others. Catch more ZZZs.
