Should there be a disclaimer, aimed specifically at Christians, that indicates satan has taken over yahoo!answers religion and spirituality section.
It could state: Any christians (or others) seeking to enter this category with the intent to praise God and share like experiences are cautioned to beware the works of Satan. You may be uncontrollable drawn toward conflict and become unwillingly engaged in spiritual/philosophical rhetoric. If this should happen, your God will remain unpraised and his word will not be spread.
That seems a bit long. How can the disclaimer be shortened?

I'm sorry, was I unclear?
The disclaimer is for the welfare of Christians and like-minded others, to help them stay on their desired path. And, to lovingly discourage any who are unable to participate without the support of a moderator.

No disclaimer is necesasary. Your disclaimer is your opinion.
One can make the case that the people praising God are agents of Satan. The denizens of that section promote intolerant and hate just as much as love and forgiveness.
Notice that the category is "Religion and spirituality" not "Christianity and all their works". So, a disclaimer that promotes Christian themes is completely inappropriate.

There should be a moderator that throws out irrelevant questions and answers - I get tired of people on these types of systems that just seem to want to share their stupidity. I like the idea of Yahoo! answers as a place for people who have real questions - people with a true desire to learn about other people. There are too many obviously antagonistic questions on here that are blatantly disrespectful. I think they should be moderated. We really need respect in this world. The willingness to hear other viewpoints and discuss them in a civilized manner is an admirable quality.

I agree with Jessie O about how there should be a moderator just for R&S, but instead of throwing out the question it should be moved to a different subsection of R&S. There needs to be two subsections 1. Intelligent, thought-provoking questions 2. All the rest (all of the WSIDR questions, the off-topic but I want to ask religious people questions, and especially the type of question that provokes, and is laden with contention). People could post to either section, but the moderator would be able to move questions from one to the other.

actually from what I'm seeing lately around here you could put that disclaimer on just about any topic or category on Yahoo Answers......
It's almost getting silly, someone asks a question about goldfish and I can almost guarantee there's going to be some kind of gobble-dee-**** about God's will and Judgment Day, in at least one answer.......
...and watch out if you don't agree with their point....you'll get nasty comments on your 360 page....or even worse.....you'll get reported....!!!
in fact I'll bet this question has already been reported.....lol
Maybe if you wanted to shorten this, you could say something like.......
'lighten up'

How about: "Individuals who post in this section tend to have strong views and beliefs. It is very likely that you will encounter people here who do not agree with you and who in fact consider your belief system to be wholly false, silly, naive, ridiculous, ignorant or dangerous. Please keep in mind that the fact that someone dissagrees with you does not in itself constitute a Yahoo breach of etiquette and refrain from reporting your fellow posters simply because you are personally offended by their posts."

The religion and spirituality section should just be eliminated. There is nothing religious or spiritual about it.
As should the vegetarian and vegan sections.
Too many idiots in both.

Those without the will, energy, intellect, or interest to "contend earnestly for the faith" should conduct your self-congratulatory praise-a-thons elsewhere.
That's shorter, huh?

It can be shortened to:
"This is not your church. You don't prey... Sorry: "pray", here. This is ONLY to discuss religion. Not to evangelise."

How about, if your faith is so weak that it can't stand up to critical examination, try another section...
